How to Apply for IIITH UGEE 2027
You apply online only, on the IIIT Hyderabad admissions portal, once the 2027 window opens. In 2026 the form was open from 11 February to 5 April 2026, after the last date was extended from 31 March.
Apply Online for IIITH UGEE 2027
Applications for IIITH UGEE 2027 are expected in February 2027.
- Open the IIIT Hyderabad admissions portal and choose the Registration Form for UGEE.
- Register and note the login details you create; you need them later for the admit card and results.
- Fill in your personal and Class 12 details carefully.
- Pay the application fee online.
- Submit the form and keep a copy for your records.

The fee is non-refundable. The 2027 fee will be confirmed when IIIT Hyderabad opens the next application window.
Who can apply for IIITH UGEE 2027?
You must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. For 2026, IIIT Hyderabad allowed students who passed between 2023 and June 2026; those who passed in 2022 or earlier could not apply.
The passing-year window for 2027 will be stated on the official UGEE page when applications open, so check it before you pay the fee.
What is the IIITH UGEE 2027 exam pattern?
UGEE is a 3-hour computer-based test in two sections, with 25% negative marking in both. In 2026 it ran in one sitting from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at centres in many cities.

How are students selected through IIITH UGEE 2027?
Selection has two stages: the written test decides who is called for interview, and the interview alone decides the final offer.
- Applicants are first filtered on their SUPR performance.
- Those who clear the filter are ranked on their REAP score to make the interview shortlist.
- IIIT Hyderabad aims for at least 25% women among shortlisted candidates.
- Shortlisted candidates attend an interview on the Hyderabad campus.
- Offers are made on interview performance, and seats are allocated in rounds.
In 2026, four rounds of seat allocation ran from 11 June to 18 July 2026, and students reported on campus on 1 August 2026.
