How Jammu & Kashmir B.Ed 2022 Result is Compiled?
The result of B.Ed entrance exam is releases in the merit list form in which candidates can check their name, rank, score, etc. First, provisional list is prepared and then candidates are selected on the basis of the rank and score. Result of a candidate is calcualted by following ways:
1. First, on the basis of the final answer key, answers are cross-checked.
2. According to the marking scheme marks are awarded as given below:
- For every correct answer +1 marks are awarded
- For every incorrect answer 0.25 are deducted
- For no answer, 0 marks are given
3. After cross-checking the answers, total raw marks are calcuated by given below formula:
Raw Score = +1( total no. of correct answer – 0.25 total no. of incorrect answer)
Jammu & Kashmir B.Ed 2022 Tie-Breaking Criteria
In case of two or more candidates having same marks, then to prepare merit list given below tie-breaking criteria is given:
- In such, higher marks scored in “Aptitude for Teaching Profession” will be considered
- If tie continues, then seniority in age will be considered
Re-Checking of Jammu & Kashmir B.Ed 2022 Result
Evaluation of the answer sheet is done computerize, but sometimes incomplete marks are scanned in the OMR sheet. So to keep fair examinations, JKBOPEE provides the facility for re-checking of the answer sheet. Candidates who are not satisfied with the marks can send the written request along with requisite fee at POS terminal at BOPEE office Srinagar/Jammu. The amount is to be paid along with the request is:
- Rs 1000/-
The application for re-checking must be sent within the 5 days of declaration of result. Application after the due date will not be entertained.

JKBOPEE releases result in merit list form of the qualified candidates. Based on the rank and eligibility criteria, candidates are selected for admission process. All candidates, whose name are in the list, have to report at the centre mentioned in the notification. If a candidate fail to produce the documents at the specified date and time or found ineligible shall not be considered for the admission.
