The JKBOPEE B.Ed syllabus 2027 has four sections: General English, General Awareness, Aptitude for Teaching Profession and Reasoning, with 45 questions each in a 180-question paper. What does the JKBOPEE B.Ed 2027 syllabus include?
The paper tests language, general knowledge, teaching aptitude and reasoning at graduation level. J&K BOPEE gives the scheme in its e-Information Brochure but no detailed syllabus, so use the topics seen in past papers as your guide.
General English Topics
Questions test grammar and vocabulary in short items. Past papers asked these types:
- Synonyms, antonyms and one-word substitutes
- Direct and indirect speech
- Active and passive voice
- Question tags, articles and fill in the blanks with phrases
- Spotting the error in a sentence
- Meanings of idioms and phrases
- Changing complex sentences to simple sentences
General Awareness Topics
This section mixes national general knowledge with many questions on Jammu and Kashmir. Past papers covered:
- Current affairs, such as summits and survey reports
- Indian polity and articles of the Constitution
- Indian and world geography
- J&K history, for example the rulers of the Jammu and Kashmir region
- J&K geography and economy: national parks, hydroelectric projects and crops such as Pampore saffron
- Environment and pollution standards
Aptitude for Teaching Profession Topics
These questions check your understanding of how children learn and how schools work. Past papers asked about:
- Theories of learning and transfer of training
- Educational thinkers and psychologists
- Classroom situations and the role of the teacher and principal
- Remedial teaching and students who need extra help
- Rewards, punishment and discipline
- Bodies such as NCERT, NIE and NCTE
Reasoning Topics
The last section mixes verbal, non-verbal and numerical reasoning. Past papers included:
- Statement and conclusions
- Odd one out among figures
- Blood relations
- Coding and decoding
- Number series and simple arithmetic
- Analogies
- Fixing the operators in an equation
How are marks split in the JKBOPEE B.Ed 2027 exam?
Each section has 45 questions of one mark each. A wrong answer costs 0.25 mark.

How to Prepare for the JKBOPEE B.Ed 2027 Syllabus

- Read a newspaper every day and keep notes on J&K history, geography and economy.
- Study basic learning theories and child development from a B.Ed. entrance or TET guide.
- Practise reasoning sets on series, coding, blood relations and figures.
- Solve the JKBOPEE B.Ed previous year papers in 3-hour sittings with an OMR sheet.
