How does Jharkhand B.Sc Nursing counselling work?
Counselling is online and starts a few days after the result. It fills all seats in government nursing institutes and 50% of the free seats in non-government institutes. In 2026 round 1 registration opened on 28 August, and there were four rounds in all.
- Register through the “Click here for All Online Counselling JCECEB” link on the JCECEB website and pay the counselling fee.
- Fill as many college choices as you like, in order of preference. There is no limit, so fill many.
- Check the provisional seat allotment letter on the date given.
- Report to the allotted institute for document verification and admission within the dates given.
- If you took admission and want a better college, you may join the next round. A new seat, if allotted, must be taken, as your earlier admission is cancelled.

- Local resident certificate issued by the Circle Officer, SDO (Civil) or Deputy Commissioner of Jharkhand
