How to Apply for Jharkhand B.Sc Nursing 2027
You apply online only, through the JCECEB website, once the 2027 notice is out (expected in July 2027). In 2026 the form was open from 16 July to 2 August 2026, and 3 August 2026 was the only day to edit it.

Applications for Jharkhand B.Sc Nursing 2027 are expected in July 2027.
- Go to jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in and click “Click here for All Online Application Form Submission” on the homepage.
- Open the link for the B.Sc Nursing (Basic/Post-Basic) Entrance Competitive Examination and read the instructions.
- Register, then fill in your name, parents’ names, date of birth, category and academic details.
- Upload a scanned colour passport-size photo that shows your face and both ears clearly (not edited), your signature and your left thumb impression.
- Choose your exam centre districts in order of preference.
- Pay the fee online by credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI, submit the form and keep a printout. You do not need to send it to JCECEB.

The fee is not refundable. If you made a mistake in your name, date of birth, category or another entry, log in on the edit day and correct it. JCECEB gives no other chance to change the form.
Who can apply for Jharkhand B.Sc Nursing 2027?
You can apply if you have passed 10+2 Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with at least 45% aggregate, and are at least 17 years old. These are the 2026 rules; the 2027 notice will confirm them.
- Qualification: 10+2 with Science (PCB) and English Core or English Elective, with 45% aggregate, from CBSE, ICSE, a state board or another recognised board.
- NIOS: students of the National Institute of Open Schooling 10+2 Science exam with 45% marks can also apply.
- Age: at least 17 years on 31 December of the admission year. The 2026 notice set no upper age limit.
- Medical fitness: you must be medically fit.
- Residence: seats go first to local residents of Jharkhand. Other eligible candidates are admitted only if seats stay vacant after that.
- Hostel: every student must stay in the hostel during the course.
Reservation for EWS, BC-I, BC-II, SC, ST and PwD candidates follows the Jharkhand government policy, and the certificates must be issued in the Jharkhand format by the Circle Officer, SDO or Deputy Commissioner.
What is the Jharkhand B.Sc Nursing 2027 exam pattern?

The 2025 paper had 150 multiple choice questions with four options each, printed in both English and Hindi. In 2026 the exam ran from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at centres in Ranchi, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Palamu, Jamshedpur, Dumka and Hazaribagh.
