JK ITI Admission 2027 is the merit-based admission to Government and private Industrial Training Institutes in Jammu and Kashmir, run by the Directorate of Skill Development (DSD), J&K. There is no entrance test: seats go on percentage in the qualifying exam. Based on earlier cycles, online applications are expected to open in May 2027.

Is there an entrance exam for JK ITI admission 2027?
No. DSD J&K holds no written test for ITI admission. It ranks applicants on the percentage they scored in the qualifying exam and publishes provisional selection lists for each ITI and trade. There is no admit card, answer key or exam centre.
Admission covers the Government ITIs and the private ITIs of the Union Territory. DSD lists 52 Government ITIs and 26 functional private ITIs. Seats are offered under the Normal, Self-Finance, Women Wing and Heritage Craft schemes.

DSD has not announced the 2027 schedule, so the 2027 dates below are expected months. In 2025, applications were taken from 15 to 30 May 2025, and in 2026 the Round 1 selection lists came out in July 2026.

How to Apply for JK ITI Admission 2027
You apply online on the DSD ITI admission portal (itiadmissions.jkdsd.in) during the window given in the admission notice, then deposit the printout at the ITI you choose. The portal opens with the notice; until then, follow the ITI admissions page on jkdsd.in.
Apply Online for JK ITI 2027
Applications for JK ITI 2027 are expected in May 2027.
- Read the Session 2027 admission notice on jkdsd.in when DSD releases it, and check the trades and qualification each ITI offers.
- Open the ITI admission portal and fill the online application form with your personal details, qualifying-exam marks and trade choices.
- Submit the form and take a printout of the filled application.
- Deposit the printout, with copies of your documents, at the ITI you have chosen, and pay the application fee there against a cash receipt.
- Keep your application number safe. It is printed against your name in the selection lists.

Keep your J&K domicile certificate ready. The 2025 notice asks candidates to produce it at the time of admission.
Who can apply for JK ITI admission 2027?
You can apply if you are at least 14 years old on the date the session starts and hold the qualification the trade needs. There is no upper age limit.
- Minimum age is 18 years for the Driver cum Mechanic (LMV) trade.
- The educational qualification differs by trade, so check it for each trade in the admission notice.
- If you have already trained in an ITI, you may apply for another trade only two years after completing the earlier course.

How are JK ITI 2027 seats allotted?
Seats are allotted purely on academic merit in the qualifying exam. Merit is drawn up separately for free seats and self-financing seats.
DSD publishes provisional selection lists division-wise, one for Kashmir and one for Jammu, listing selected candidates ITI by ITI and trade by trade with their rank and percentage.
