How is the JUET 2027 score used for admission?

A CUET score gets first preference for University of Jammu seats, and JUET is the second route. Under JUET, merit is a mix of your qualifying exam marks and your JUET score. The 2026 rules were:

ProgrammeHow merit was worked out in 2026
Two-year PG70% academic merit + 30% JUET-PG score
One-year PG50% academic merit + 50% JUET-PG score
UG and integrated UG-PG (except BA LLB)Half the seats on 70% academic merit + 30% JUET score; half on Class 12 merit
BA LLB (5 years)CUET score first, then 70% academic merit + 30% JUET score, then Class 12 merit

The UG rule was revised by a public notice on 7 May 2026 because CUET-UG had not started by then. After the result you must apply separately for admission on the university’s portal; the steps are on the JUET 2027 result page.

No. The fee, Rs 500 (Rs 450 for SC/ST) in 2026, is not refunded.
Can a candidate with a disability get a scribe in JUET?
