The MP ADDET syllabus 2027 covers Physics, Chemistry and General Studies at Class 11 and 12 level. MPESB prints it in the ADDET rule book. The latest (2026) rule book gives General Studies 20 questions on general science, Madhya Pradesh and ICT. Expect the same syllabus for the 2027 test unless the new rule book changes it.

Physics covers mechanics, heat, waves, optics, electricity, magnetism and modern physics at Class 11 and 12 level.
- Units and dimensions, motion in two dimensions, Newton’s laws, friction, work, energy and power
- Rotation, moment of inertia, gravitation and satellites
- Elasticity, surface tension, kinetic theory, gas laws, specific heats, heat transfer
- Simple harmonic motion, waves, beats and the Doppler effect
- Wave optics, reflection, refraction, mirrors, lenses, prisms, the human eye and optical instruments
- Photoelectric effect, Bohr model, nucleus, radioactivity, fission and X-rays
- Semiconductors and the p-n junction rectifier

How should I prepare for the MP ADDET syllabus?
- Read NCERT Class 11 and 12 Physics and Chemistry, since the topic list follows them closely.
- Make short notes of formulas, reactions and exceptions, and revise them weekly.
- For General Studies, revise Madhya Pradesh geography, history, sport and culture, plus basic computer and internet terms.
- Practise timed MCQs, and skip questions you cannot narrow down because wrong answers cost marks.
