NCET Result 2027: Expected Date, Scorecard, ITEP Admission

NTA will declare the NCET Result 2027 as NTA scores at exams.nta.nic.in/ncet, expected in June 2027. You log in with your application number to download the scorecard. Universities, IITs, NITs, RIEs and government colleges then use these scores to prepare their own merit lists for the 4-year ITEP.

How to Check the NCET Result 2027

You check the NCET 2027 result by downloading your scorecard from the NCET website; NTA does not post it. In 2026 the result came out on 4 June 2026, about seven weeks after the exam.

1. Go to exams.nta.nic.in/ncet.
2. Click the NCET 2027 scorecard link.
3. Enter your application number and password or date of birth.
4. View your NTA scores on screen.
5. Download the scorecard and keep a few printouts for admission.

What does the NCET 2027 scorecard show?

The NCET scorecard shows your NTA score in each test you took, which colleges use for their merit lists.

• Your name, application number, roll number, category and date of birth.
• Your NTA score in each language, domain subject, the General Test and Teaching Aptitude.
• The final answer key is the basis of the scores; there is no re-evaluation or re-checking.

If the exam runs in more than one shift, raw marks are converted into NTA scores and raw marks are not shown. The score is valid only for admission in the 2027-28 session.

Is there a qualifying mark or merit list for NCET?

NTA does not publish an all-India rank, qualifying cut-off or merit list for NCET. Each university or institute prepares its own merit list from NCET scores, applying its own subject rules, minimum marks and reservation policy.

What happens after the NCET result 2027?

After the result you apply for ITEP admission to each college separately, because NTA does not run counselling. NTA only shares the score data with NCTE and the participating institutes.

1. Shortlist ITEP colleges that admit through NCET, such as central and state universities, IITs, NITs and the RIEs at Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mysuru and Shillong.
2. Register on each college’s admission portal with your NCET 2027 score, as per its notice.
3. Check the college’s merit list and counselling schedule.
4. Attend document verification with your scorecard, Class 12 marksheet and category certificate.
5. Pay the admission fee to confirm your seat. Colleges may fill vacant seats later from the pool of NCET candidates.
