Instruction to the candidates
- The eligibility of the students are accepted for the academic year 2018-19, 2019-20 for reappearing/Improvement in the final examination course(s) which they have not been able to pass/did not appear. The student must clearly indicate the name of the course(s) he proposes to appear.
- A student must pay re-appearing examination fee only.
- In order to avail facility to Re-appear for exam student must enclose an online payment receipt of an amount @ Rs. 300/- per course (or Subject) and should be attached with application. To appear for the examination, a student either have submitted the assignments in the previous year or must submit the assignments in the current year. Marks obtained by them in the Assignments will be taken into account.
- The application along with online payment receipt of examination fee should be sent through email to dec.nird@gov.in on or before 17-12-2020.
NIRD Hyderabad Distance Education 2021 Eligibility
To be eligible for PGDSRD, PGDTDM and PGDGARD, the candidates must have the requirements stated below.
For Indian Applicants,
- Qualification: The candidates must have a Graduate degree in any discipline from a university recognized by University Grants Commission UGC.
For Foreign Applicants,
- Qualification: The candidates must have a Graduate degree in any discipline from a university recognized by their Government and their competence in English should be ensured.
NIRD Hyderabad Distance Education 2021 Admission Process
If a candidate is selected for admission then he/she will be intimated via post for the same. Moreover, the list of selected candidates will be displayed on the official website of the university. Candidates are required to make the payment of the course fee after getting notification of their selectin. Only those who pay the fee are considered admitted.
NIRD Hyderabad Distance Education 2021 Examination Details
Candidates can check the course details from below.
PGDSRD: The course is offered in Semester wise and consist 30 Marks for the continuous evaluation through assignments and 70 Marks for Semester End Examinations(Total 100 Marks). In the second semester, students have to undertake a Project relating to Rural Development which carries 100 marks.
PGDTDM: The course is offered in two Semesters and consist of 30 Marks for the continuous evaluation through assignments and 70 Marks for Semester End Examinations (Total 100 Marks). In the second semester, students have to undertake a Project relating to Tribal Development which carries 100 marks.
PGDGARD: The Course is offered in two Semesters and consist of 30 Marks for the continuous evaluation through assignments and 70 Marks for Semester End Examinations (Total 100 Marks). In the second semester, students have to undertake a Project relating to Geo-Spatial applications in Rural Development which carries 100 marks.
