How to check the Odisha CPET result 2027?
You check your CPET marks and merit position on the SAMS PG portal after SSB hands over the results.
- Go to the SAMS PG portal, pg.samsodisha.gov.in.
- Log in to your student account with the details you used for the CAF.
- View your CPET marks for each entrance subject you took.
- Check the subject-wise merit list when SAMS publishes it.
- Save or print the page for counselling.
How is the Odisha CPET merit list prepared?
The merit list is based only on CPET scores. The old 80:20 system that added graduation marks to CPET marks no longer applies. SAMS publishes a separate state-wide merit list for each subject.
Your graduation marks still decide eligibility. You update them on the portal before choice filling, which ran from 27 July to 2 August 2026 last year.
What happens after the Odisha CPET result?
- Update your graduation marks and fill your choice of colleges and subjects, then lock them.
- SAMS allots seats in rounds. In 2026, Round 1 was on 7 August, Round 2 on 17 August and the waitlist on 28 August.
- Each time you get a seat, choose Freeze, Float or Slide. If you choose none, the seat is treated as rejected and you are out of later rounds of that phase.
- Report to the allotted college within the reporting window and complete admission.
- If you were admitted in Phase I before your final UG result, submit your graduation certificate within two months.
Students admitted in any Phase I round cannot join a later phase. Later phases or spot rounds, if held, are only for students who were not admitted.
