The Higher Education Department has not released the CPET 2027 schedule yet, so the table shows expected months. In 2026 the exam ran from 5 to 16 May 2026, so CPET 2027 is expected in May 2027.

How to Apply for Odisha CPET 2027
You apply online by filling the Common Application Form (CAF) on the SAMS PG portal, pg.samsodisha.gov.in. One form covers all participating universities and colleges. The steps and fee below follow the 2026 process and may change in the 2027 notice.
Apply Online for Odisha CPET 2027
Applications for Odisha CPET 2027 are expected in February 2027.
- Open the SAMS PG portal when the CAF goes live, expected in February 2027.
- Fill in your personal details, address and educational qualifications.
- Choose your entrance subjects and PG subjects. In 2026 you could pick up to 3 entrance subjects and 5 PG subjects, based on your eligibility.
- If you want a Higher Education Department scholarship, upload your residence, income and caste certificates in the CAF.
- Pay the fee for each entrance subject and submit the form. Save a copy of the submitted CAF.
- If you made a mistake, correct it in the one-day CAF editing window after the last date. No new forms are accepted that day.

Who can apply for Odisha CPET 2027?
You can apply if you have, or are about to complete, a graduation degree from a UGC-recognised university in a subject linked to the PG course you want.
- Final-year students whose results are awaited can apply. If you get a Phase I seat, you must submit your graduation certificate to the college within two months of admission.
- For each PG subject, you must have studied that subject as an elective paper carrying at least 24 credits at UG level. A false claim leads to cancellation, even after admission.
- The SAMS subject-wise eligibility table lists a minimum of 45% marks or a CGPA of 5.00 in the qualifying degree. Check the row for your PG subject before you apply.
What is the Odisha CPET 2027 exam pattern?
CPET has one paper per subject, and you sit the paper of the PG subject you want. The table shows the 2026 pattern, which CPET 2027 is expected to follow.
