Final merit lists came out on 2 August 2026 and three rounds are over. The mop-up allotment for Government institutions is scheduled for 5 PM on 16 October 2026 at dohodisha.nic.in.

How to Check the Odisha Nursing Seat Allotment 2026-27
- Go to dohodisha.nic.in and open the applicant login page.
- Enter your application (registration) number and password.
- See your allotted institution and course. After paying the part course fee, download the intimation (allotment) letter.
- You can also open the round-wise allotment PDF for your course under News & Events on the home page and search for your application number.
- Pay the part course fee within the round’s window, or the allotment is cancelled.
SNSC also sends an SMS about your allotment to your registered mobile number.
What does the Odisha nursing merit list show?
SNSC publishes a separate merit list for each course: one each for ANM and GNM, State Quota and Outside-State Quota lists for Basic B.Sc, Post Basic B.Sc and M.Sc Nursing, and a State Quota list for Post Basic Diploma. In 2026-27 the revised lists had 7,244 candidates for Basic B.Sc (State Quota), 4,217 for GNM and 2,385 for ANM.
Outside-State candidates are considered only for seats left vacant in private institutions after State Quota counselling. Each list gives a common rank and a category rank.

These are the last SNSC State Quota merit ranks that got a Government institution seat in Rounds 1 to 3 of 2026-27 (official allotment lists of 13 August to 10 September 2026, matched with the revised merit lists of 2 August 2026). The mop-up round may extend them a little.

These ranks are positions on SNSC’s own merit list, not OJEE ranks. Private seats went much further: Round 1 Basic B.Sc allotments reached the last rank on the list (7,244), and every GNM allotment in the three 2026-27 rounds was at a private institution, down to the last GNM rank (4,217).
What should you do after you get an Odisha nursing seat?
- Pay the part course fee online within the window. If you do not, the allotment is cancelled and you are left out of later rounds.
- Choose Freeze to keep the seat, or Float to stay in the next rounds for a better choice. You cannot change this option later; if you pay but do not choose, Rounds 1 and 2 treat you as Float and Round 3 as Freeze.
- Do not report at the institution until after the last round you take part in.
- Report within the reporting dates with the allotment letter, fee receipt and original documents, including the college leaving or transfer certificate, character certificate, medical fitness certificate and, if married, the marriage declaration.
- Pay the rest of the course fee at the institution. If you leave after admission but before counselling ends, 90% of the fee is refunded; nothing is refunded after counselling is over.
How many rounds are there in Odisha nursing counselling 2026-27?
There were three regular online rounds for all courses, followed by a mop-up round for Government institutions only.
