Application Form for B.A. / B.Sc. will be released at the University Website, candidates can fill the form online. It is advised to the candidates to ensure their eligibility first. Every candidate have to be eligible according to the conducting body, as it is compulsory to be eligible to applying for the exam. Expected Application Fee: Rs. 900/- for all Categories.
Patna university admit card for BA / B.Sc Entrance Exam will be released once the application process gets over. Admit card will only be released for the candidates who have submitted the application form on or before the last date. Admit card contains the important detail regarding the exams like examination time, venue and instruction which candidates must follow during the examination time. Candidates will be able to download the Admit Card from the “Admit card” page link provided above.
Admission to B.A / B.Sc will be through an entrance test. The test will be objective type with the use of Blue / Black pen and OMR sheet for B.A. / B.Sc. The exam can be change to computer based exam as the give information is based on last year brochure candidates can use this information as reference.
The pattern of Entrance test is as follows:-
- Full Marks: 100
- Duration of Exam: 2 hours
- No. of Objective questions: 100 each carrying one mark, no negative marking
The details of objective questions are as follows:
(a) For B.Sc.
- General Knowledge and Aptitude Test – 10 marks
- Physics & Chemistry – 60 marks
- Biology or Mathematics & Statistics (make your choice) – 30 marks
(b) For B.A.
- General Knowledge and Aptitude Test – 25 marks
- Questions related to all major subject of Humanities and Social Science – 75 marks
Candidates who will be appearing for the qualifying examination for the current academic year are also eligible to apply subject to the condition that they produce of having passed the qualifying examination with at least 45% marks at the time of admission.
Students who want to applying for English Honours need to appear in the proficiency test. Only, the students who qualify the entrance test will be able to appear for Proficiency Test. The final result will be made on the basis of entrance and PET exam.
Compartment / failed candidates or candidates with less than 45% marks secured in the qualifying examination, will not be considered for admission even if they have qualified in the Entrance Test.
Minimum Qualifying Marks- The candidates need to score not less than 45% marks.
