The PPMET 2027 syllabus covers five sections: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and Aptitude for Nursing. BFUHS prints the syllabus in the PPMET prospectus, and the Physics, Chemistry and Biology units follow the Class 11 and 12 science curriculum. The 2027 syllabus is expected with the PPMET 2027 prospectus around April 2027.

PPMET tests you on Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology), English and Aptitude for Nursing. The units below are from the syllabus in the PPMET 2026 prospectus (Annexure VI), which is expected to continue for 2027.

- Human Physiology: digestion, breathing, body fluids and circulation, excretion, locomotion, neural and chemical coordination

- Biology and Human Welfare
- Biotechnology and its Applications
- Ecology and Environment
The prospectus asks that diseases related to each human physiology system are studied in brief, so do not skip the disorders listed under each system.
What is asked in PPMET English and Aptitude for Nursing?
The prospectus lists English and Aptitude for Nursing as sections but gives no topic list for them. The PPMET 2025 paper had 20 questions in each. Practise grammar, vocabulary and reading comprehension for English, and use the past papers to see the kind of aptitude questions asked.

The test is offline on an OMR sheet. There is no negative marking for a wrong answer, but 1 mark is deducted for any question left with all ovals blank, so darken oval E for every question you skip.

How to Prepare for PPMET 2027
- Study the NCERT Class 11 and 12 textbooks for Physics, Chemistry and Biology, since the units match that curriculum.
- Give Biology extra time: it decides ties before Chemistry does.
