Rajasthan Pre PG 2027: Dates, Eligibility, Pattern

Rajasthan Pre PG 2027 is the entrance test for M.Sc. Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry and Home Science/Community Science seats in the state agriculture universities of Rajasthan. One of these universities runs it each year on rotation; SKRAU Bikaner ran it in 2025 and 2026. Pre PG 2027 is expected in June 2027, with the online form in April and May.

Latest (11 September 2026): On 11 September 2026 the JET/Pre-PG 2026 portal reopened for candidates to update their Class 12, graduation and PG marks till 5 PM on 18 September 2026. Pre PG 2027 is not announced yet.

Pre PG 2027 dates are not announced yet. In 2026 the form was open from 18 April to 17 May and the exam was held on 27 June, so Pre PG 2027 is expected in June 2027.

How to Apply for Rajasthan Pre PG 2027

You apply online only, on the JET/Pre-PG website of that year’s coordinating university. The 2026 form was on jetskrau2026.com; the Pre PG 2027 form is expected in April and May 2027, possibly on a new website if another university coordinates it. Each paper needs a separate form, so fill two forms to sit both the Agriculture and Horticulture papers.

Read the Pre-PG guidelines booklet and keep your scanned photo (30 to 50 KB, white background), signature, right-hand thumb impression, Class 10 and 12 marksheets and UG degree or provisional certificate ready.
Register on the portal with your own or a parent’s mobile number and email ID. Note your registration number (user ID) and password.
Pay the fee online from your own or a close relative’s account. Do not use e-Mitra or coaching centre accounts, numbers or email IDs.
Fill in your details, category, domicile criterion, paper and a personal bank account for refunds, and upload the documents.
Check everything before paying. After the fee is paid, changes are possible only in the official correction window (23 to 25 May in 2026).
Print the submitted form and keep it. You do not post it to the JET office.

The fee is not refunded, transferred or adjusted in any case. The 2027 fee will be confirmed in the Pre PG 2027 booklet.

Who can apply for Rajasthan Pre PG 2027?

You can apply if you have, or are completing, a four-year bachelor’s degree in agriculture or an allied subject with at least 55% marks, and you meet one of the Rajasthan domicile criteria. These are the 2026 rules; check the 2027 booklet when it comes.

Marks: at least 55% or equivalent OGPA in the four-year UG degree, with 5% relaxation for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), MBC, EWS and SAP candidates. Those who use the relaxation are not considered in the unreserved category.
Final-year students can sit the exam provisionally, but need the degree or provisional degree and transcript at the option form stage.
Students admitted to UG from 2019 onwards must have joined through JET, ICAR’s national-level CUET or a state-level government entrance test.
Age: at least 18 years (as on 31 August in 2026).
Domicile: you must meet one of eight criteria, such as a Rajasthan domicile certificate, Classes 10 to 12 passed in Rajasthan, or a parent in Rajasthan government, defence or police service.

What is the Rajasthan Pre PG exam pattern?

Each Pre PG paper is one offline OMR test of 100 questions for 400 marks, in English only. Merit is prepared only from the marks in this test.

Which university conducts Rajasthan Pre PG?

The coordinating university changes among Rajasthan’s state agriculture universities. Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University (SKRAU), Bikaner ran it in 2025 and 2026, together with JET and the Pre-Ph.D. test. The 2027 coordinator and website are not announced yet.

Which universities admit students through Pre PG?

Pre PG scores fill M.Sc. seats at SKRAU Bikaner, MPUAT Udaipur, SKNAU Jobner, Agriculture University Jodhpur and Agriculture University Kota. Payment seats are filled from the same merit list.

Is Rajasthan Pre PG the same as Rajasthan JET?

No. JET is the test for UG agriculture courses after Class 12. Pre PG is the separate test for M.Sc. courses after a four-year UG degree, though the same university runs both on the same portal.

Can I take both the Agriculture and Horticulture papers?

Yes, but you must fill a separate application form and pay the fee for each paper. In 2026 the Agriculture paper was in the morning and the other papers in the afternoon, so both could be taken.

What is the minimum score to qualify in Pre PG?

There is no fixed percentage. In 2026 any candidate with positive marks could fill the counselling option form; those with zero or negative marks were not eligible.
