SKUAST Jammu CET 2027 Important Dates
SKUAST Jammu has not announced the CET 2027 dates yet. In 2026 the form opened on 27 April, the UG exam was on 28 June and the PG exam on 7 July, so 2027 is expected on the same pattern.

How to Apply for SKUAST Jammu CET 2027
You apply only online, through the CET link on skuastjammu.ac.in. The form is expected to open in April 2027, with a short late-fee period and a two-day correction window after the deadline.
Apply Online for SKUAST Jammu CET 2027
Applications for SKUAST Jammu CET 2027 are expected in April 2027.
- Go to skuastjammu.ac.in and open the SKUAST-J Common Entrance Test 2027 link when it is live. Read the information brochure first.
- Fill in Part I with your personal details, using your own mobile number and email.
- Fill in Part II with your academic details and the programmes you want.
- Upload your photo, signature and thumb impression in JPG format. The photo must show a placard with your name and the date it was taken.
- Upload your category certificate if you claim a reserved category. The category you claim, including any change in the correction window, is final.
- Check all details, pay the fee online by card or net banking, and print the confirmation page. Keep your login and password safe.

These fees are from the CET 2026 brochure and are non-refundable. SKUAST Jammu may revise them for 2027.
Who can apply for SKUAST Jammu CET 2027?
You can apply for the UG test if you have passed, or are appearing in, Class 12 with the subjects your course needs and English. Most seats are for domiciles of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
- B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, B.Sc (Hons) Horticulture, B.Tech Dairy Technology and B.Tech Biotechnology: Class 12 with PCB, PCM, PCBM or Agriculture.
- B.V.Sc & A.H.: Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- B.Tech Agricultural Engineering: Class 12 with PCM, PCB, PCBM or Agriculture. Students without Mathematics take an extra Basic Mathematics course in year one.
- B.Sc (Hons) Life Sciences: Class 12 with PCB, PCBM or Agriculture.
- Marks: at least 50% aggregate for Open Merit, NRI/OCI and all-India self-financing seats, and 40% for reserved categories (OBC needs 50% for B.Tech Agricultural Engineering).
- Age: at least 17 years by 31 December of the admission year.
- Candidates from outside J&K and Ladakh can take only NRI/OCI and all-India self-financing payment seats, except B.Tech Biotechnology, which is open on an all-India basis.
For the PG test you need a relevant bachelor’s degree with an OGPA of at least 6.00/10 or 60% (5.50/10 or 55% for Basic Sciences and for reserved categories), and you must be at least 19 years old by 31 December. Final-year students can apply.
What is the SKUAST Jammu CET 2027 exam pattern?
The UG test is one 3-hour OMR paper of 180 multiple-choice questions, held at Jammu. Each correct answer gets 1 mark and each wrong answer loses 0.25 mark.

The PG test lasts 2.5 hours and has 150 multiple-choice questions in the major subject group you choose, such as Agricultural/Horticultural Sciences, Basic Sciences or Agri-Business Management, with the same marking. Topics are listed on the SKUAST Jammu CET syllabus page.
