St Johns Medical College Admission 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Before you apply for ST Johns Medical College Admission 2020, you must satisfy the eligibility criteria given for the following courses:
For MBBS:
Age Limit –
The candidate must be 17 years of age on or before 31 December of the year of admission.
Qualifications –
Candidates must have passed 12th class or equivalent qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English.
Qualifying Marks –
- All the candidates must have obtained an aggregate of 50 % marks (general category) and 40 % marks (SC/ ST/ OBC category) in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates must also have passed the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET -UG) 2020.
For PG Medical Courses:
Qualifications –
- Candidates must have qualified for the M.B.B.S. Degree or Post Graduate Medical Diploma from any University which has been recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- Candidates must have completed the Compulsory Rotating Internship of one year on or before December 31, 2020.
- All the candidates must have Registered with the Indian Medical Council.
- All the candidates must have qualified the NEET PG 2020.

- Candidates have to first register themselves for the centralized counselling conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
- The selection of the candidates is done on the basis of the NEET – UG 2020 score/ rank.
For PG Medical Courses –
- For admission into PG Medical Courses, candidates have to register first on the centralized counselling conducted by KEA.
- Candidates must completion of MBBS Degree/ PG Diploma from any University recognised by MCA (Medical Council of India)
- And also have the one-year rotating internships certificated before March 31, 2020.
- Registration with India Medical Council.
- The selection of the candidates is done on the basis of the NEET – PG score/ rank.
Candidates have to carry the following documents while Reporting at the college for admission process:
- M.B.B.S Degree or Provisional Pass Certificate
- Marks Statement of all M.B.B.S. Exams
- Caste Certificate (if the candidate belongs to SC/ ST/ OBC Category)
- Compulsory Rotating Internship Certificate

About St Johns Medical College
St Johns Medical College is a prestigious medical college of India. It was established in the year 1963 by the Catholic Bishop’s Conference of India (CBCI). On it’s completion, the college was dedicated to the Medical Education, Research and Healthcare on September 29, 1968 at a ceremony presided by the President of India, Dr. Zakir Hussain. The college is situated at Bangalore.
