How to Use TG PGECET Previous Year Papers?
- Work at one minute a question. 120 questions in 120 minutes. Do the questions you know first, then return to the long numericals with the time left.
- Answer all 120. There is no negative marking, so a guess costs nothing. Your first target is 30 marks, the 25% you need to qualify.
- Solve your branch from 2026 backwards. 2026, 2024, 2023, 2022 and 2020 have all 19 papers with answers marked in green, so you can score each attempt as you go. Cover the green marks while you solve.
- Use 2025 with care. Only five 2025 papers are here. The CS and Pharmacy papers mark the answers, but the CE, EC and ME papers are response-sheet copies, so check their answers yourself.
- Know where you stand. In 2024, 50 or more marks in Computer Science and IT was within the top 413 ranks. Track your score across papers against that kind of mark.

What is the TG PGECET exam pattern?
One 2-hour computer-based test of 120 multiple-choice questions for 120 marks in your branch test paper. There are 19 test papers.
Is there negative marking in TG PGECET?
No. Each correct answer gets 1 mark and a wrong answer loses nothing, so attempt every question.
Do the TG PGECET papers have answer keys?
From 2020 to 2026 the correct options are marked in green in the papers (except the 2025 CE, EC and ME response-sheet copies). 2017, 2019 and 2020 also have a separate key for each paper.
Is TS PGECET the same as TG PGECET?
Yes. The exam was called TS PGECET until 2023 and has been TG PGECET since 2024. The test and the pattern are the same.
Which TG PGECET papers are missing?
2017 has no Mining, Pharmacy or Textile Technology paper, 2019 has no Electrical Engineering paper, and 2025 has only five papers. There are no 2018 or 2021 papers here.
What are the TG PGECET qualifying marks?
You need 25%, which is 30 out of 120. SC and ST candidates have no minimum mark.
