  • Specialisations include Constitutional Law, Corporate and Securities Laws, Labour Laws, Criminal Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Human Rights and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

TG PGLCET 2027 FAQs

Is TS PGLCET the same as TG PGLCET?
Yes. TS PGLCET is the old name. The exam is now called TG PGLCET, after the council became the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE).
Is there negative marking in TG PGLCET?
No. Each correct answer gets one mark and wrong answers lose nothing, so attempt every question.
Can I write TG PGLCET in Telugu?
No. The TG PGLCET question paper is set in English only, unlike TG LAWCET, which is bilingual.
Is there a separate test for each LL.M. specialisation?
No. One common test is held for all LL.M. courses, and you choose your specialisation and college during counselling.
Is TG PGLCET held with TG LAWCET?
Yes. The same convener runs both on the same website. In 2026 TG PGLCET was held on 18 May, 4:00 to 5:30 PM, in the same session as the 5-year LL.B. test.
