UPRTOU MBA MCA 2027 admission has no entrance test. Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Prayagraj, stopped the MBA-MCA Entrance Test from the 2024-25 session and now admits students directly, first come first served, on its Samarth portal. The next intake is the January 2027 session, with online admission expected from 1 January to 15 March 2027.

Is the UPRTOU MBA MCA entrance exam 2027 being held?
No. UPRTOU dropped the MBA-MCA Entrance Test from the 2024-25 session. The 2026-27 Information Brochure says the university takes MBA and MCA admissions directly on a student’s application, on a first come, first served basis.
So there is no MBA MCA application form for a test, no admit card, no answer key and no entrance result. The “Admit Card June-2026” link on uprtou.ac.in is for the term-end exams of students already enrolled. At UPRTOU, only B.Ed, B.Ed (Special Education) and MA (Yoga) still use an entrance test.

How to Apply for UPRTOU MBA MCA 2027 Admission
You apply online on the UPRTOU Samarth admission portal; the university does not accept cash payments. Fill the form carefully, because any change after admission is charged as per the rules.
Apply Online for UPRTOU MBA MCA 2027
Applications for UPRTOU MBA MCA 2027 are expected on 1 January to 15 March 2027.
- Open the UPRTOU Samarth admission portal (uprtouadm.samarth.edu.in) once the January 2027 session opens.
- Register as a new applicant, then log in with your registered email ID, password and the captcha shown on screen.
- Choose MBA (programme code 702) or MCA (programme code 703) and fill in your personal and academic details.
- Upload your photo, signature, graduation marksheet and certificate, and, if they apply, your experience and category certificates.
- Pay the programme fee and the registration fee online.
- Submit the form and keep a copy. If you forget your password, use the “Forgot Password” reset link on the login page.

The programme fee covers only the current year, so you pay it again for the second year. The 2025-26 MBA brochure charged Rs 16,800 a year, so check the fee shown on the portal before you pay.
Who can apply for UPRTOU MBA and MCA 2027?
You can apply if you hold the qualifying degree in the 2026-27 brochure. There is no entrance score to submit.

Check your eligibility yourself before you apply. If the university later finds you are not eligible, it can cancel your admission at any stage and the fee is not refunded.
How does UPRTOU select MBA and MCA students without a test?
Seats go to eligible applicants in the order they apply. The university places you in the July or January session automatically, based on the date you submit the online form, and you take that session’s semester exams.
You stay in the same session for later years: a July-session student applies for the second year in the next July session, and a January-session student in the next January session. Moving between sessions is not allowed.
What will you study in the UPRTOU MBA and MCA?
Both are two-year, four-semester programmes in English medium, with up to four years to finish. Instead of an entrance syllabus, the brochure lists the courses you study.

You must submit an assignment for every paper before its semester exam and fill the exam form online. There are no recent official MBA MCA entrance question papers to practise, as the test is no longer held.
