| Section | Questions | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Analytical Reasoning Skills I | 30 | 30 minutes |
| Verbal Skills I | 30 | 30 minutes |
| Quantitative Skills I | 30 | 30 minutes |
| Analytical Reasoning Skills II | 30 | 30 minutes |

| Quantitative Skills II | 30 | 30 minutes |
| Total | 180 | 180 minutes |
- Each correct answer earns 1 mark.
- 0.25 mark is deducted for each wrong answer, so four wrong answers cost one mark.
- Unanswered questions score zero.
- The actual test may not follow the section order shown above.
Topic lists for each section are on the ATMA 2027 syllabus page.
How many times is ATMA held in a year?
AIMS holds ATMA several times a year, and each session has its own registration, admit card and result. In 2026 there were four sessions, on 22 February, 3 May, 12 July and 9 August, all on Sundays from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, so 2027 sessions are expected in a similar pattern.
AIMS can change a session at short notice. The August 2026 test was listed for 23 August in the bulletin but was held on 9 August, and only in Bhubaneswar, Raipur, Mumbai and Hyderabad because test centres were unavailable.
Which institutes accept ATMA 2027 scores?
ATMA scores are accepted by the institutes in the official ATMA participating institutes list, and AIMS says over 200 B-schools recognise the test.
There is no central ATMA counselling. You apply to each institute separately, and each one sets its own cut-off and selection rounds. Check your score on the ATMA result page once your session is over.
