Which subjects are in the Uttarakhand Paramedical syllabus?
The B.Sc. Paramedical paper tests Physics (25 questions), Chemistry (25) and Biology or Mathematics (50), all from the Class 11 and 12 science syllabus. The split below is from the 2026 brochure and is expected to stay the same for 2027.

The brochure gives no chapter list. Use the Class 11 and 12 NCERT books as your syllabus; the main units are listed below.
- Physics: units and measurement, motion and laws of motion, work, energy and power, gravitation, properties of matter, heat and thermodynamics, oscillations and waves, electrostatics, current electricity, magnetism and electromagnetic induction, alternating current, optics, dual nature of matter, atoms and nuclei, semiconductors.
- Chemistry: basic concepts, atomic structure, chemical bonding, states of matter, thermodynamics, equilibrium, redox reactions, periodic table and the s, p, d and f blocks, solutions, electrochemistry, chemical kinetics, coordination compounds, organic chemistry basics, hydrocarbons, haloalkanes, alcohols, aldehydes and ketones, amines, biomolecules.
- Biology: diversity of living organisms, plant and animal structure, cell structure and function, plant physiology, human physiology, reproduction, genetics and evolution, biology and human welfare, biotechnology, ecology and environment.
- Mathematics (instead of Biology): sets, relations and functions, trigonometry, complex numbers, sequences and series, permutations and combinations, binomial theorem, coordinate geometry, limits and derivatives, matrices and determinants, calculus, vectors and 3D geometry, probability and statistics.
What is asked in the M.Sc. MLT and MPT papers?
Each PG paper has 100 questions at graduation level in the subject of your degree: B.Sc. MLT topics for M.Sc. MLT, and BPT topics for MPT. HNBUMU does not publish a separate topic list, so revise your full degree syllabus.
What is the Uttarakhand Paramedical 2027 exam pattern and marking scheme?
Each paper has 100 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks, and you get 2 hours to finish it.
- Mode: offline, with answers marked on an OMR sheet using a black ballpoint pen.
- Marking: 1 mark for each correct answer and zero for a wrong, blank or multiple-marked answer. There is no negative marking.
- Language: the paper is set in both Hindi and English.
- Question booklets come in several sets; in 2026 there were sets A to D.
- You may take the question paper home after the exam.

How should I prepare for Uttarakhand Paramedical 2027?
Build your base from the Class 11 and 12 NCERT books first, then practise objective questions and full papers in 2 hours.
- Biology carries half the B.Sc. paper, so give it the most time if you take PCB.
