WB ANM GNM 2027 is the entrance test that WBJEEB holds for the 2-year ANM (Revised) and 3-year GNM nursing courses in West Bengal’s government, private and self-financed institutes. The 2027 schedule is not out yet. Going by 2026, applications are expected in March 2027 and the OMR exam in June 2027.

WB ANM GNM 2027 Important Dates
WBJEEB has not announced the ANM(R) & GNM-2027 schedule, so the dates below are expected months. In 2026 applications ran from 25 March to 22 April and the exam was held on 14 June 2026, but the month has moved before: the 2024 exam was held on 4 August and the 2025 exam on 19 October.

How to Apply for WB ANM GNM 2027
You apply for ANM(R) & GNM-2027 online only, on the WBJEEB website, once the 2027 information bulletin is out. There is no printed form, and you must not submit a second application.
Apply Online for WB ANM GNM 2027
Applications for WB ANM GNM 2027 are expected in March 2027.
- Open the WBJEEB ANM & GNM page and click the ANM(R) & GNM-2027 registration link when it goes live.
- Register with your name, father’s and mother’s names, date of birth, gender, ID type and number, address, mobile number and email ID. Name, parents’ names, domicile and date of birth cannot be changed later.
- Create a password and submit. Note the application number shown on screen; it is also sent by SMS and email.
- Log in and fill the application: domicile, category, PwD status, family income, academic details, and four exam zones in order of choice.
- Upload a recent colour photo (JPG, 10 to 200 KB) and your signature (JPG, 4 to 30 KB) in one step.
- Pay the fee online and download the confirmation page. The application stays incomplete until the confirmation page is generated.
Other details can be corrected only in the correction window, which was 24 to 26 April in 2026. The fees below are from the 2026 bulletin and notices; WBJEEB will confirm the 2027 amounts.

The fee is paid by net banking, debit card, credit card, QR code or UPI, plus bank charges, and is not refunded.
Who can apply for WB ANM GNM 2027?
You can sit the test if you are an Indian citizen and a domicile of West Bengal, have passed or are appearing in Class 12 (10+2), and are at least 17 years old by 31 December of the admission year. These rules, and the admission rules below, are from the 2026 bulletin; the 2027 bulletin may update them.

- Vocational students qualify only from the Health Care Science stream (CBSE) or the listed Community Healthcare subject combinations of the West Bengal HS (Vocational) exam.
- There are two government GNM institutes for male candidates and a few private ones.
- All candidates need a medical fitness certificate in the bulletin’s format at admission.
Which courses can you join through WB ANM GNM 2027?
The test fills two nursing diploma courses in West Bengal. WBJEEB gives each candidate a separate rank for each course.
- ANM (Revised): Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery, 2 years. ANM trainees in government institutes get a stipend of Rs 500 a month (or as per government rules) for two years.
- GNM: General Nursing and Midwifery, 3 years, in government nursing training schools and private institutes.
The seat matrix comes from the Department of Health and Family Welfare, West Bengal, after verification by the West Bengal Nursing Council, and is published before counselling. Seats are reserved for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, EWS, PwD, orphan and civil defence candidates.
What is the WB ANM GNM 2027 exam pattern?
WB ANM GNM is one OMR paper of 100 multiple-choice questions for 115 marks, written in 90 minutes from 12 noon to 1:30 PM. Questions are in English and Bengali, except Basic English and Logical Reasoning. The table shows the 2026 pattern, the same split as in the 2024 bulletin.
