WB ANM GNM Answer Key 2027: Expected Date, Challenge, Score

WBJEEB will release the WB ANM GNM 2027 model answer keys in the candidate sign-in after the exam, which is expected in June 2027. In 2026 the model keys came on 9 July, challenges closed on 11 July and the final keys were published on 29 July 2026, with OMR responses shown in between.

How to Check the WB ANM GNM 2027 Answer Key

1. Open the WBJEEB ANM & GNM page after the model answer key notice is out.
2. Click the ANM(R) & GNM-2027 registered candidate sign-in link.
3. Log in with your application number, password and the security pin.
4. Open the model answer keys and compare them with your question booklet.
5. Find your booklet series (A, B, C or D). In 2026 WBJEEB printed a symbol on page 7 of the booklet that tells you the series.

The final keys are published as a public PDF that maps each set’s question numbers to one answer. See the 2026 final answer keys for the format.

How to Challenge the WB ANM GNM 2027 Answer Key

You can challenge a model key online only, within the window in the notice. In 2026 the window was 9 to 11 July (up to 11:59 PM).

1. Log in to the candidate sign-in during the challenge window.
2. Select each question you want to challenge; you can challenge any number, but in one session only.
3. Pay Rs 500 per question by net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI. The fee is not refunded.
4. Submit. Challenges sent by email, letter, fax or phone are not accepted.

WBJEEB reviews the challenges and publishes the final keys; its decision is final, and scores and ranks are based on the final keys.

How to Check and Challenge Your WB ANM GNM OMR Responses

WBJEEB also uploads the image of your OMR sheet and the responses read by the machine. In 2026 they were shown from 15 July, and claims closed on 17 July (up to 11:59 PM).

• Category-1 responses show as A, B, C or D; Category-2 responses show the letters you chose.
• Unattempted questions show as a dash.
• To dispute a captured response, pay Rs 500 per response online. Report a wrong booklet or OMR number to [email protected] in the same window.
• Download and keep your OMR image; it cannot be downloaded after counselling.

How to Calculate Your WB ANM GNM 2027 Score

Use the final keys and your OMR responses with this marking scheme:

• Category-1 (85 questions): +1 for a correct answer, -1/4 for a wrong answer or more than one option marked, 0 if not attempted.
• Category-2 (15 questions): +2 if you mark all the correct options and nothing else; partial credit of 2 multiplied by correct options marked divided by total correct options, if no wrong option is marked; 0 if any wrong option is marked.
• Maximum score: 115.

Your score decides your separate ANM(R) and GNM ranks on the WB ANM GNM result. If you need the Board’s own calculation sheet, it costs Rs 500 by bank draft.
