TJEE 2027 is the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination that the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE), Agartala holds for engineering, veterinary, agriculture, fisheries, forestry, pharmacy, nursing and paramedical degree seats reserved for Tripura students. The 2027 dates are not out yet. Based on 2026, the form is expected in February and the exam in April 2027.

TBJEE has not announced the TJEE 2027 schedule yet, so the dates below are expected from the 2026 cycle, when the form was open from 10 to 18 February and the exam was held on 22 April 2026.

How to Apply for TJEE 2027
You apply for TJEE only online, on the TBJEE candidate portal. There is no printed form. In 2026 the form was open for nine days in February, so keep your documents ready before the 2027 window opens.
Apply Online for TJEE 2027
Applications for TJEE 2027 are expected in February 2027.
- Open the TJEE candidate portal and fill the New User Registration form with your name, email ID, mobile number (verified by OTP), date of birth and a password.
- Note the registration number you get. You need it, with your password, for every later login.
- Log in and complete your profile: personal and contact details, photo (10 to 200 KB) and signature (4 to 30 KB), plus caste, PwD, ex-serviceman or BPL ration card proof if it applies to you.
- Click Apply Online and fill your qualification details, residency details, any previous TJEE application, your group (A, B or C) and one of the eight exam centres.
- Check the preview, edit if needed and submit. You cannot edit the form after final submission.
- Pay the fee online by debit card, credit card or net banking, then print the acknowledgement page.

Processing charges and GST are extra, and the fee is not refunded. If your payment is deducted but the portal shows it as failed, do not pay again; email [email protected] with your registration number, transaction ID and screenshots.
Who can apply for TJEE 2027?
You can apply if you meet the Tripura residency rule and have passed, or are appearing in, 10+2 with the subjects of your chosen group. These are the 2026 rules from the TBJEE prospectus and eligibility notice.
- Residency: you should be a permanent resident of Tripura, with your own Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate (PRTC) or, if you do not have one, your father’s or mother’s PRTC.
- Some others can also apply: children of All India Services officers of the Manipur-Tripura cadre, children of central or deputed officers who have served in Tripura for 3 years or more, and wards of ex-servicemen or serving defence personnel who have lived in Tripura for 5 years.
- Qualification: 10+2 from TBSE, CBSE, ICSE or an equivalent board, passed or appearing in 2027, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and/or Biology.
- To get a seat you must pass Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology at 10+2, in theory and practical separately. Candidates with a compartment are considered only after they submit the passed marksheet.
- There is no upper age limit, and there is no OBC reservation in TJEE. Seats are reserved for SC, ST, PwD and wards of ex-servicemen as per state rules.
- If you accepted a seat through TJEE earlier, you cannot appear again unless you surrendered that seat in time.
What is the TJEE 2027 exam pattern?
TJEE is an offline OMR exam held on one day in three sittings, with 30 multiple-choice questions per subject. This is the 2026 pattern; TBJEE confirms the 2027 pattern in its next prospectus.

- Group A (engineering) takes Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics; Group B (veterinary, agriculture, fisheries, forestry, paramedical) takes Physics, Chemistry and Biology; Group C takes all four to compete for both sets of seats.
- Each correct answer gets 4 marks and 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer, so a group is marked out of 360.
- The syllabus of each subject is split into 10 modules and 3 questions come from each module. See the TJEE syllabus for the module list.
- Booklets are bilingual, in English and Bengali; if the two differ, the English version is final.
Which courses can you get through TJEE?
TJEE fills seats that state institutions and outside sponsoring bodies give to TBJEE for Tripura students. The list changes every year; these examples are from the 2026 seat matrices.

Each institute may also set its own minimum 10+2 marks, for example 45% in PCM for general and 40% for SC and ST candidates for some B.Tech seats.
How does TJEE counselling work?
TBJEE runs the first round online after the result, and the nodal departments hold later rounds offline. In 2026 online registration ran from 5 to 24 June and allotments came in late July.
- Register for counselling on the portal with your registration number and password, upload your 10+2 marksheet, PRTC and category certificates, and enter your 10+2 marks.
- After TBJEE accepts your registration, fill and lock your choices of course and institute. You get only one chance to fill choices.
- Check your allotment by logging in, accept the seat and download the allotment letter by the deadline.
- Collect the nomination letter from the sponsoring department and report to the institute for admission.
- Vacant seats go to offline second, spot and later rounds run by the departments concerned.
If you skip registration or choice filling in the first round, you cannot join later rounds.
