The TJEE stands for Tripura Joint Entrance Examination. It is organized by the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE), Agartala, and is the State level common entrance exam for admission to Engineering, Veterinary, Agriculture, Fisheries, Paramedical and other professional degree courses in colleges and universities in Tripura. TBJEE 2026 Application Form
The TBJEE 2026 application form was made available by TBJEE from 10 February 2026, and registration closed on 7 March 2026. Candidates filled the form online at tbjee.nic.in after checking the eligibility criteria, uploaded the required documents, and paid the application fee. The fee was Rs. 650 for general male candidates, Rs. 550 for SC/ST male candidates, and Rs. 350 for all female and BPL candidates. An edit window was open from 25 February to 3 March 2026 for corrections.
TBJEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination, candidates had to meet the following conditions set by Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination:
- Be a permanent resident of Tripura, or have a parent who resided in Tripura for at least 10 continuous years before the date of admission.
- Have passed (or be appearing in) Class 12 or equivalent from TBSE, CBSE or an equivalent board.
- Group A (Engineering): Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Group B (Agriculture, Veterinary, Fisheries, Paramedical): Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Group C (both groups): Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
TBJEE 2026 Exam Pattern
The TBJEE 2026 question paper followed an offline, multiple-choice format. Key features of the pattern are as below.
- Mode: Offline, pen-and-paper based test (PBT).
- Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and/or Biology depending on the group.
- Questions: 30 MCQs per subject, with 10 modules of 3 questions each.
