ACPC BID BCT was the Gujarat Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) counselling for state-quota seats in Bachelor of Interior Design (B.ID) and Bachelor of Construction Technology (B.CT). It has not been held since 2022-23, and no 2027 process is announced. The only participating institute, CEPT University, no longer lists either course.

Is ACPC BID BCT counselling being held in 2027?
No. ACPC has not run B.ID or B.CT counselling since the 2022-23 admission year. Its course page still says the 2023-24 process will be announced soon, and no schedule, notice or merit list has followed for 2023-24, 2024-25, 2025-26 or 2026-27.
ACPC has not published a formal notice ending the process. But the only institute in its last list, CEPT University in Ahmedabad, no longer offers a Bachelor of Interior Design or Bachelor of Construction Technology in its 2026 undergraduate programme list. So there is no ACPC BID BCT 2027 round to prepare for.
What was ACPC BID BCT admission?
ACPC BID BCT was a counselling process, not an entrance exam. ACPC filled the government (state quota) seats, which were 50% of the intake, and the institute filled management and NRI seats itself. Merit was based on your qualifying marks, along with a NATA score for B.ID or a JEE Main appearance for B.CT.
| Course | Institute (2022-23 list) | Intake | State quota seats |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bachelor of Interior Design (B.ID) | Faculty of Design, CEPT University | 40 | 20 (20 management/NRI) |
| Bachelor of Construction Technology (B.CT) | Faculty of Technology, CEPT University | 60 | 30 (30 management/NRI) |
The 2022-23 institute list showed a fee ceiling of Rs 3,20,000 a year for both courses, the figure fixed by the Fee Regulatory Committee for 2019-20.
Where can you apply instead of ACPC BID BCT?
CEPT University’s 2026 bachelor’s programmes are Architecture, Urban Design, Civil Engineering (Hons) and Design (Hons). None of them is a B.ID or B.CT, and each has its own entry route.
| CEPT bachelor’s programme (2026) | Entry test named by CEPT |
|---|---|
| Bachelor’s in Architecture | NATA |
| Bachelor’s in Urban Design | NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 (B.Arch / B.Plan) |
| Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (Hons) | JEE Main Paper 1 or GUJCET |
The government seats of CEPT’s Civil Engineering (Hons) are filled through ACPC’s BE/B.Tech process on GUJCET scores. See ACPC engineering admission for that route, and ACPC B.Arch admission for architecture seats in Gujarat.
