How to Check the AIFD Merit List 2027
AIFD posts its merit lists as public PDFs on aifd.edu.in, one per programme, so you do not need to log in.
- Open the official website aifd.edu.in.
- Go to Admission and open the Merit list page.
- Open the PDF for your programme, B.Sc FAD or BVA.
- Find your name and check your selection weightage and position.
- Read the note at the end of the list for the first-instalment deadline and the reporting date, and save the PDF.
What does the AIFD merit list show?
Each list shows your serial number, name, selection weightage of Class 10 and 12 marks, position and course, with a note on fees and reporting.
What is the expected AIFD 2027 cut off?
AIFD publishes no official cut off, but the last candidate on each 2026 first merit list shows roughly where selection closed (2026, official first merit lists, aifd.edu.in).

These figures come from the first lists only; AIFD did not post later lists on its website. The 2027 closing weightage will depend on the number of applicants and seats.
What should you do after you make the AIFD merit list?
Accept your offer letter, pay the fees and report to AIFD on the date in the merit list.
- Accept the offer letter by the last date AIFD gives (June in the 2026 schedule).
- Pay the first instalment of Rs 50,000 by NEFT/RTGS and email the receipt with the transaction ID to [email protected]. In 2026 it was due by 5 June.
- Report to AIFD, Kothanur, Bengaluru, on the reporting date (11 June in 2026) with your original documents, not laminated, and DigiLocker copies of your Class 12 marks card and migration certificate.
- Register on the Bengaluru North University UUCMS portal and select Army Institute of Fashion & Design, Bangalore as your college.
- Classes begin in July, as per the university notification.
If you do not take admission after paying, AIFD processes the refund only after the admission process closes. If a selected candidate fails to deposit original certificates on time, AIFD gives the seat to the next candidate on the waiting list.
