How to Use AP LAWCET Previous Year Papers?
- Move at 45 seconds a question. 120 questions in 90 minutes is fast. Clear Part A and Part B quickly, as they test recall, and keep about 50 minutes for the 60 Part C legal aptitude questions.
- Answer every question. There is no negative marking, so a blank never helps. Your first target is 42 marks, the 35% you need for a rank.
- Solve the right course paper. The 5-year LL.B. paper is set at Intermediate level and the 3-year paper at degree level. Solve your own course’s paper from 2026 back to 2019, then try the other one for extra practice.
- Use old Current Affairs only as a model. Part B asks about recent events, so old Part B answers will be out of date. Note the kind of questions asked and build your own notes for the year before your test.
- Plan for May 2027. About six months remain. Since Part C carries half the marks and tie-breaks go to Part C first, give legal aptitude extra practice.
