BCECE LE Syllabus 2027: Section-wise Topics and PDF

The BCECE LE 2027 syllabus has three sections for each course group. Engineering covers Mathematics and Engineering Mechanics, para medical covers Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology, and pharmacy covers Pharmaceutics groups. Technical English is common and only qualifying. The topics come from the BCECEB prospectus, and the 2027 prospectus is expected in April 2027.

What does the BCECE LE 2027 syllabus include?

You study only the syllabus of the course group you apply for. BCECEB calls it an indicative syllabus at diploma level.

What is in the BCECE LE Mathematics syllabus?

• Solid geometry: coordinate systems, direction cosines, planes, straight lines, spheres, cones, cylinders and conicoids
• Differential calculus: limits, continuity, Rolle’s and mean value theorems, Taylor and Maclaurin expansions, maxima and minima, partial derivatives, Lagrange multipliers
• Integral calculus: definite integrals, reduction formulae, beta and gamma functions, double and triple integrals, areas and volumes
• Differential equations: first order equations and second order equations with constant coefficients
• Vector calculus: gradient, divergence, curl, line and surface integrals, Green, Gauss and Stokes theorems, convergence of series
• Matrices: rank, inverse, linear equations, eigenvalues and eigenvectors
• Fourier series and half range series

• Rigid body idealisation, forces and laws of mechanics
• Vector methods, moments and couples, equivalent force systems
• Equilibrium, free body diagrams and plane trusses
• Friction on inclined planes, wedges, belts and pulleys
• Kinematics and kinetics of particles and rigid bodies, projectile motion, D’Alembert’s principle
• Impulse, momentum and impact
• Work, energy, power and efficiency

What is in the BCECE LE para medical syllabus?

• Anatomy: bones and muscles, vital organs (respiratory, circulatory, digestive, reproductive, excretory, nervous, sense organs), embryology
• Physiology: body systems, special senses, pulse, blood pressure, heart sounds, temperature regulation, skin
• Pathology: haematology (haemoglobin, ESR, CBC, blood banking, coagulation, anaemias) and clinical pathology of body fluids
• Microbiology: bacteriology of water, food and milk, lab diagnosis of common infections, sterilisation, culture media, antibiotic sensitivity, biomedical waste
• Biochemistry: pH and buffers, specimen handling, carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, electrolytes, liver and kidney function tests, lipid profile

What is in the BCECE LE pharmacy syllabus?

• Section I: Pharmaceutics-I (dosage forms, metrology and calculations, packaging), Pharmaceutical Chemistry-I, Pharmacognosy, Health Education and Community Pharmacy
• Section II: Pharmaceutics-II, Pharmaceutical Chemistry-II, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence, Hospital and Clinical Pharmacy

What is in the BCECE LE Technical English syllabus?

• Grammar: subject-verb agreement, tense, voice, synthesis, common errors, vocabulary and an unseen passage
• Elementary spoken English and phonetics
• Sentence and paragraph writing, report writing and precis writing
• Technical description of things and processes
• Business correspondence (engineering group): official letters, circulars, minutes and agenda

How are BCECE LE 2027 sections counted?

Your merit is the total of Section I and Section II of your group. Technical English needs at least 35 marks to qualify but is not added to the merit total.

Questions are set in English and Hindi, and you answer on an OMR sheet. There is no re-evaluation or re-totalling of answer sheets.

How to Prepare for BCECE LE 2027

• Revise your diploma textbooks for the two merit sections of your group first, since only they decide your rank.
• For engineering, practise calculus, matrices and vector problems along with statics and dynamics numericals.
• Spend some time on grammar and writing so that you clear the 35-mark English cut.
• Practise filling an OMR sheet with a blue or black ballpoint pen before the exam.
