The Chandigarh NEET cut off is the last NEET UG rank that gets an MBBS, BDS or BHMS seat in GMCH counselling. GMCH does not publish a separate cut-off table. It publishes merit lists and a list of admitted students with their NEET rank and marks, and sets minimum NEET percentiles for eligibility.
Chandigarh NEET Cut Off 2027
Minimum NEET percentile and Class 12 marks, where to check the official ranks of admitted students, and how the All India Quota cut off differs.
How to check the Chandigarh NEET cut off?
- Open the list of students admitted page on the GMCH website.
- Open the MBBS list of the latest batch (Batch 2025 at present).
- Find the rows of your category and quota. The list shows each student’s NEET merit number (AIR), NEET marks and category.
- Note the NEET rank and marks of the last student admitted in your category. That is the practical closing point for that year.
For counselling itself, GMCH also posts category-wise provisional merit lists of eligible candidates on its admissions page. These lists show who is eligible, not who got a seat.
What is the minimum NEET percentile for Chandigarh NEET counselling?
You must clear both the NEET UG percentile and the Class 12 PCB aggregate below to be eligible for MBBS (2026 prospectus).
| Category | NEET UG percentile | PCB aggregate in Class 12 |
|---|---|---|
| General (incl. Foreign Indian Student, OCI) | 50th | 50% |
| General PwBD | 45th | 45% |
| SC, OBC (NCL), incl. PwBD | 40th | 40% |
BHMS uses the same NEET percentiles. Meeting them makes you eligible only; the seat depends on your rank among UT Chandigarh Pool or All India Pool applicants. See the Chandigarh NEET Counselling 2027 page for the full eligibility rules.
How many seats decide the GMCH cut off?
The cut off is high because seats are few: GMCH-32 has 200 MBBS seats in all, of which 156 are UT Chandigarh Pool seats (122 General, 11 OBC (NCL), 23 SC, with 8 PwBD inside these). BDS has 100 seats and BHMS 35 (2026 prospectus).
What is the All India Quota cut off for GMCH Chandigarh?
The 30 All India Quota MBBS seats of GMCH-32 are allotted by MCC, so their closing ranks appear in MCC’s round-wise allotment results on mcc.nic.in, not in GMCH lists. AIQ seats need a much better NEET rank than UT Pool seats, because candidates from all over India compete for them.
