How To carry CIFNET 2020 Admit Card
Candidates have to download it and take a printout of the same. The admit card is mandatory to be carried by the candidates to the examination center. It is therefore suggested to get the printout of the to admit card laminated so that it does not get tampered till the examination date.
Note: You must take good care of your hall ticket as, without it, you may not be allowed to sit for the examination. The invigilator may use it for verification of the candidate’s identity. In case of discrepancy found, the candidature is subject to be terminated at any point.

- Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
- No.of sections: 5 (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and English Language)
- Marking Scheme: +1 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 will be deduced for each wrong answer.
For (VNC)/ Marine Fitter Course(MFC)
- Medium of Question Paper: English
- Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
- No.of sections: Maths, Science subjects and English language.

CIFNET 2020 Result
The result for CIFNET 2020 will be published on the official website. Candidates will be able to download the merit list that will be made available in PDF format. The merit list released will be used for the counseling process by the organization. The candidate can check their name in the list according to their roll number. The declaration or release of merit list is not the last process of selection, candidates who will qualify the test will have to attend the counselling round for seat intake.
The Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical and Engineering Training (or CIFNET) formerly known as the Central Institute of Fisheries Operatives (CIFO), is a marine studies center located at Kochi, India. Maintained by the Department of Fisheries and Animal Husbandry of the Government of India, the institute was set up to aid research and development in the field. It promotes studies and research on marine science and technology, marine environment, socio-economic, legal and other related fields. The institute has three training vessels, mainly used for imparting onboard practical training for institutional trainees and for providing qualifying sea service for post-institutional trainees of the institute.
