The CIFNET result 2027 will be published as separate rank lists for the Vessel Navigator Course and Marine Fitter Course on cifnet.gov.in, expected in July 2027. There is no login or scorecard. In 2026 the rank lists came on 14 July, ten days after the CET, with counselling at CIFNET Kochi on 23 July.

How to check the CIFNET result 2027?
- Open cifnet.gov.in and go to Admission (or Students Corner, Rank Lists).
- Open the Vessel Navigator Course or Marine Fitter Course rank list PDF for 2027.
- Find your roll number in the list and note your rank.
- Check the counselling date and reporting time printed for your rank range.
- Later, check the allotment lists on the same page if you are called for a vacancy round.
The notification asks candidates to check the result on the CIFNET website and attend counselling as per the rank list, so check the site yourself on the result date.
What does the CIFNET 2027 rank list show?
Each course has its own rank list. It gives the rank, roll number, name and category of each candidate, grouped by counselling date. No marks are printed, so CIFNET does not publish a cut-off score.
In 2026 the VNC list had 122 ranks and the MFC list 119 ranks.
How does CIFNET 2027 counselling work?
Counselling is held in person at CIFNET Kochi. In 2026, ranks 1 to 60 were called on 23 July, and the remaining ranks on 27 July for the seats still vacant.
- Report at CIFNET, Fine Arts Avenue, Kochi on your date (9:00 to 11:00 AM in 2026).
- Fill the training centre allotment form with your preference order of Kochi, Chennai and Visakhapatnam.
- Submit your documents and pay the Rs 1,000 admission fee by demand draft in favour of ‘Pay and Accounts Officer, Kochi’, payable at Ernakulam.
- Collect your confirmation of admission letter and report to the allotted centre with the first instalment of Rs 22,825 on the joining date.
- Original Class 10 (SSLC) marksheet
- EWS, OBC-NCL, SC or ST certificate, if you claim a reserved seat
- Eye-sight test pass certificate (VNC only)
- Transfer and conduct certificate, or migration certificate
- Age proof (birth certificate or Class 10 certificate)
- Aadhaar card copy, bank account copy and one passport-size photo
The 2026 rank list warned that candidates who did not attend counselling on their date would not be considered for admission for any reason.
What happens after CIFNET 2027 counselling?
Seats left vacant are filled through further allotment lists on the admission page. In 2026 the third allotment lists came on 13 August, and those candidates joined on 18 August after classes had begun on 4 August.
