The CIFNET 2018 result has been announced by the Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical and Engineering Training. The result is declared at every stage of selection i.e., Common Entrance Test, Merit and Interview whichever is applicable. The result is published on the official website of CIFNET at cifnet.gov.in. It is published in the form of a merit list. The Candidates who qualified the entrance examination will get admission in the desired courses as BFSc(NS) and VNC/ MFC. The merit list contain the names, registration number and status of the candidate.
The CIFNET 2018 result, For the BFSc(NS), the candidate is selected on the basis of entrance examination, merit and interview. Whereas the selection for VNC/ MFC course is only done through the marks obtained by the candidate in the Common Entrance Test.

Mode of Selection
For BFSc(NS)- Common Entrance Test(CET), merit & Interview. The candidates who shall qualify the entrance test will be called further for the interview round. After the commencement of the interview, a final merit list for the selected candidates shall be prepared.The candidates will be given admission on the basis of the final merit list.
For VNC/ MFC- All India basis Common Entrance Test(CET). The selection in this course shall only be based on the performance of the candidate in the Common Entrance Test.
