The CIPET CAT result 2027 is expected in June 2027, after the computer based test. Selected candidates download a provisional offer letter (counselling cum admission letter) from the CIPET admission portal. In 2026 the letters were due in the second week of June after the 7 June test, and classes began on 13 July 2026.

How to Check the CIPET CAT Result 2027
- Open the CIPET admission portal for CAT 2027 once the result or offer letter notice is posted.
- Log in as an existing user with your User ID (registered mobile number) and password.
- Open the link to download the provisional offer letter for admission at a CIPET centre.
- Check the programme and CIPET centre allotted to you and the date by which you must report and pay.
- Save and print the letter, then follow its instructions to accept the seat.
In 2026 the portal carried a Download Provisional Offer Letter link. An older cycle, CAT 2022, also had a scorecard download on the portal; CIPET has not yet said what the 2027 result will include.
How does selection work after the CIPET CAT 2027 result?
Selection for every CIPET diploma, post diploma and PG diploma course is based only on your CAT performance, with reservation as per Government of India norms. The admission is provisional until your documents are verified.
- Accept the allotment by the date in your admission letter, or the seat is cancelled and offered to the waitlist
- Candidates still awaiting their qualifying result must submit it within eight weeks of the test
- At admission, submit original certificates of your entry qualification, date of birth and, if applicable, community and reservation quota certificates
- You cannot change the CIPET centre allotted to you during the course
- Hostel places are limited and given on need and availability

What fees do you pay after the CIPET CAT result?
You pay the admission fees and the first semester’s tuition fee by the date in your admission letter. The 2026-27 fees were:

Your CAT application fee is adjusted against the admission fee. Fees from the second semester onward are due within two weeks of the semester starting.
What happens after CIPET CAT 2027 admission?
Classes start in July. For 2026-27 the first semester of all diploma level programmes began on 13 July 2026 with an induction programme until 24 July, and the even semester starts on 11 January 2027. Selected students sign a code of conduct at admission, and practical training is held on industry-size machines in rotating shifts.
