- Open the Provisional Merit List PDF for the Admission Written Test.
- Find your category heading, such as Category 1 Open or Category 2B Christian Minority.
- Look for your roll number and note your rank.
- Read the counselling notice published with the list for the date, venue and fee.
The list is also put up on the notice board of the Registrar’s office. CMC Ludhiana sends no separate call letter.

How is the CMC Ludhiana M.Sc Nursing merit list prepared?
- Written test marks out of 180, plus additional marks, make a total out of 200.
- 10 additional marks for graduates of the College of Nursing, CMC Ludhiana (B.Sc Nursing, or GNM with Post Basic).
- 10 more marks for CMC graduates with at least two years of service obligation or service at CMC or a CMC Ludhiana Society member body, or for staff nurses with two years in a rural government hospital.
- Ties are broken first by written test marks out of 180, then in favour of the older candidate.
- Seats are filled category-wise in merit order.
What happens after the CMC Ludhiana M.Sc Nursing 2027 result?
Candidates on the merit list report in person to the Registrar’s office for counselling, certificate scrutiny and fee payment. Only one parent or guardian may come with you.
- Bring all original certificates and testimonials for scrutiny.
- Choose your specialty from the seats available at your rank.
- Pay the first-year fee by demand draft in favour of “Christian Medical College Ludhiana Society”, payable at Ludhiana; cash and cheques are not accepted. You may pay the full year or six months plus hostel fee.
- Attend the medical examination; a candidate found unfit cannot continue.
- If seats stay vacant, CMC Ludhiana announces them on its website and holds further counselling. In 2026 it also held a second written test on 21 September 2026.
