How to Check the CMC Vellore Nursing 2027 Result
- Open the CMC results page on the admissions website on the scheduled date.
- Select the B.Sc Nursing (Vellore Town campus) list for 2027; in 2026 the final list was titled “B.Sc. Nursing Final Selection Results CMC Vellore Town Campus 2026”.
- Look for your application number in the list.
- Check your email: CMC also informs candidates shortlisted for Step-2.
- If shortlisted, note the Step-2 date and the documents to bring.
What does the CMC Vellore Nursing result show?
CMC publishes lists of shortlisted and selected candidates. Its bulletin does not describe an individual scorecard or rank card, so you see whether you are on the list rather than a printed score. Being called for Step-2 does not mean selection or that your eligibility has been accepted.
How does CMC Vellore prepare the B.Sc Nursing merit list?
- After Step-1, each candidate gets a dummy number and all marking is done anonymously.
- The Step-2 shortlist is drawn purely on inter-se merit in the Step-1 test.
- Step-2 special tests and interviews assess the candidate’s aptitude for the course.
- Final selection is by inter-se merit within the Open category and within the Minority Network and staff quota.
- Two waiting lists are kept; if one runs out, a vacant seat goes to the next candidate on the other list.
What happens after the CMC Vellore Nursing 2027 result?
- Shortlisted candidates attend Step-2 at Vellore (6 to 8 July in 2026). Christian candidates in the Minority Network category also take a Bible knowledge test.
- Bring original certificates for verification when you register for Step-2.
- The final selection list is published on the website and notice boards (21 July in 2026).
- Selected candidates report for registration on the given date (1 September in 2026, with classes from 2 September). Missing it cancels the selection and the seat goes to the waiting list.
Selected students sign an agreement to serve in an area of need for two years after the course.
