CMC has not released the Summer Admissions 2027 bulletin, so the 2027 dates below are expected months based on 2026, when applications ran from 23 February to 30 March 2026 and Step-1 was held on 21 May 2026.

How to Apply for CMC Vellore Nursing 2027
You apply online only, on the CMC admissions website, using the common Summer Admissions form. The 2027 form is not open yet. One form covers all Group A courses (up to 7 courses, including MBBS) and Group B diploma courses, and your application number is generated only after you pay the fee.

Applications for CMC Vellore Nursing 2027 are expected in February 2027.
- Read the Summer Admissions bulletin on the CMC admissions website when the 2027 edition is released.
- Start the online form under Group A and enter your basic details; note the Temporary Login ID sent to your email and mobile.
- Upload your photograph and signature, and choose B.Sc Nursing (Vellore Town campus) along with any other courses you want.
- Pick your Step-1 test cities in order of preference.
- Pay the fee online by card, net banking or UPI; your application number is generated after payment.
- Send any supporting documents by the deadline in the bulletin (4 April in 2026).

Details cannot be changed after final submission. If you are interrupted while filling the form, sign in again with your Temporary Login ID and date of birth; the portal also has an option to retrieve a lost Temporary Login ID or application number.
Who can apply for CMC Vellore Nursing 2027?
You can apply if you have passed, or are taking, Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. These were the 2026 rules for B.Sc Nursing at the Vellore Town campus:
- At least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together, with a pass in English (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates).
- Age 17 completed on or before 31 December of the admission year.
- Both men and women can apply.
- Candidates in their Class 12 exam year may apply, but mark sheets and pass certificates must be ready by Step-2.
- Students from boards outside Tamil Nadu State, CBSE and CISCE need an eligibility certificate from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University at registration.

What is the CMC Vellore Nursing 2027 exam pattern?
Step-1 is a computer-based test in English with two parts: a science test and an aptitude assessment. This was the 2026 pattern for Group A degree courses, including B.Sc Nursing.

How does CMC Vellore select B.Sc Nursing students?
Selection has two steps, and every decision is based on inter-se merit within two categories: Open, and Minority Network and CMC Vellore staff quota.
- Step-1: the computer-based test. Candidates are ranked anonymously and a shortlist for Step-2 is published.
- Step-2: special tests and interviews at Vellore. Christian candidates applying under the Minority Network category also take a Bible knowledge test.
- Final selection list, followed by registration for admission. Two waiting lists (Open and Minority Network) fill any seats that fall vacant.

Where is the CMC Vellore Nursing Step-1 test held?
Step-1 is held in about 29 cities across India. CMC normally allots your first-choice city but may move you to another preference or a nearby city. The 2026 cities were:
