CUET Answer Key 2027: Release Date, Challenge, Score Calculation

The CUET UG 2027 answer key will be released by NTA at cuet.nta.nic.in after the exam, first as a provisional key you can challenge and then as a final key used for the result. In 2026 the provisional key came on 9 June and the final key on 23 June, so 2027 keys are expected in June 2027.

How to Check the CUET UG 2027 Answer Key

1. Go to cuet.nta.nic.in and open the answer key challenge link once the public notice is out.
2. Log in with your application number and password.
3. Click View Question Paper to see your paper and recorded responses.
4. Open the answer key list. Question IDs are not in serial order, so match each ID with the question paper.
5. The ID under Correct Option is the right answer; compare it with your recorded response.
6. Download and save your response sheet, as it is not shown again later.

How do you check your CUET UG recorded responses?

NTA shows each candidate’s attempted question papers and recorded responses on the website before the result, usually for two to three days. Download your response sheet then, because NTA does not provide it later.

How can you challenge the CUET UG 2027 answer key?

You can challenge any provisional answer online during the two to three days the key is open, by paying Rs 200 for each question you challenge.

1. Log in through the answer key challenge link.
2. Select the option IDs you think are correct for the questions you dispute.
3. Upload your supporting documents as one PDF file.
4. Click Submit and review claims, then Final submit.
5. Pay the fee online by debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. Your claims are saved only after payment.

The Rs 200 fee is a non-refundable processing charge. Subject experts review every challenge and NTA publishes a final answer key, on which the result is based. NTA does not reply to each candidate, and no complaint about the key is taken after the result.

How to Calculate Your CUET UG 2027 Score

Use your response sheet and the answer key to work out your raw marks in each paper.

• Correct answer: +5
• Wrong answer: -1
• Not answered: 0
• More than one correct option: +5 for anyone who marked any correct option
• Dropped or wrong question: +5 to every candidate who took that paper

Raw score = (correct answers x 5) – (wrong answers x 1), out of 250 per paper. For papers held in more than one shift, NTA converts raw marks into an NTA score using the equi-percentile method, so your final score may differ from your raw marks.
