Has the CUET UG 2027 syllabus been released?
No. NTA usually links the syllabus from the information bulletin, which for 2026 came out on 3 January 2026, so the 2027 syllabus is expected around January 2027. Until then, study from the 2026 syllabus PDFs below.
What is the CUET UG language syllabus?
Each of the 13 language papers tests reading comprehension of factual, literary and narrative passages, literary aptitude and vocabulary. Most universities ask for at least one language paper.

Sanskrit is a domain subject and is not translated into other mediums. Subjects dropped in 2025, such as Legal Studies, Entrepreneurship and Teaching Aptitude, are no longer in the list.
What is the CUET UG General Aptitude Test syllabus?
The General Aptitude Test checks general awareness and reasoning rather than a school subject. Universities use it for many programmes, including those whose subjects were dropped from CUET.

- Quantitative reasoning: simple use of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, mensuration and statistics

How should you prepare the CUET UG 2027 syllabus?
- Check the subject mapping of each university and programme you want, then pick at most five papers.
- Finish the NCERT Class 12 textbook for every domain paper; the 2026 syllabus is built on it.
- Solve the CUET previous year question papers for your subjects, keeping in mind that papers before 2025 let candidates skip 10 of the 50 questions.
- Practise 50 questions in 60 minutes, and skip questions you cannot narrow down, since a wrong answer costs 1 mark.
- For the General Aptitude Test, read the news daily and practise reasoning and basic arithmetic.
