Who runs Delhi NEET counselling in 2026?
MCC, not FMSC, allots Delhi Quota seats in 2026-27. The FMSC bulletin says counselling for both the 85% Delhi Quota and the 15% All India Quota of Delhi University colleges is done by MCC, and FMSC only registers allotted candidates for admission.
| Seats | Colleges | Who allots |
|---|---|---|
| 85% Delhi University Quota | MAMC, LHMC (women only), UCMS-GTB Hospital (MBBS); MAIDS (BDS) | MCC, then admission registration on fmsc.du.ac.in |
| 85% IP University Quota (central institutes) | VMMC-Safdarjung, ABVIMS-Dr RML, ESIC Basaidarapur (MBBS); ESIC Dental, Rohini (BDS) | MCC |
| 15% All India Quota | The same Delhi University and IP University colleges | MCC (open to all NEET qualified candidates) |
| CW quota (children/widows of armed forces personnel) | Delhi Quota seats of DU and IP University colleges | MCC, from the eligibility list given by the college or university |
| Delhi-quota seats of other GGSIPU colleges | Other medical colleges affiliated to GGSIPU | GGSIPU’s own online counselling |
In 2026 GGSIPU ran its own Round 1 registration from 19 to 24 August with a Rs 2,500 counselling fee (as reported by Medical Dialogues). Check the GGSIPU website for its later rounds.
How to register for Delhi NEET Counselling 2026?
You register on the MCC portal and choose Delhi Quota seats there; the stray vacancy round needs a fresh registration. For it, registration is open till 4:00 PM and choice filling till 11:55 PM on 16 October 2026.
Apply Online for Delhi NEET Counselling 2026
The Delhi NEET Counselling 2026 application window (5 to 15 August 2026) has closed.
- Go to the MCC UG medical counselling page and open new registration for the current round.
- Enter your NEET UG 2026 roll number and other details, and set a password and a security question.
- Pay the non-refundable registration fee and the refundable security deposit online.
- Fill your choices. Pick Delhi University Quota and IP University Quota seats only if you passed Class 11 and 12 in Delhi.
- Lock your choices in the locking window (7:00 PM to 11:55 PM on 16 October 2026 for the stray round).
- After a DU seat is allotted, register again on fmsc.du.ac.in for admission and pay the FMSC fee.
| Fee (2026) | UR / EWS | SC / ST / OBC / PwD |
|---|---|---|
| MCC registration fee (non-refundable) | Rs 1,000 | Rs 500 |
| MCC security deposit (refundable) | Rs 10,000 | Rs 5,000 |
| FMSC admission registration (DU seats only, non-refundable) | Rs 1,500 (also OBC) | Rs 1,000 (SC, ST, PwBD) |
MCC forfeits the security deposit if you do not join a seat allotted in Round 3 or the stray round, so choose only colleges you will join. The college fee is paid at the college at the time of admission.
Who can apply for the 85% Delhi Quota?
You can claim a Delhi Quota seat only if you passed Class 11 and Class 12 from a recognised school in NCT of Delhi and qualified NEET UG 2026.
- Class 11 and 12 under CBSE, ISC, Jamia Millia Islamia or an equivalent board, from a recognised school situated within NCT of Delhi only.
- NIOS and Patrachar Vidyalaya students are eligible only if their study centre and exam centre were in Delhi.
- There is no Delhi domicile certificate route in the 2026-27 FMSC bulletin; the school location decides eligibility.
- Age: 17 years on or before 31 December 2026 (born on or before 31 December 2009).
- NEET UG 2026 qualifying percentile: 50th for General and EWS, 40th for OBC, SC and ST, 45th for General PwBD.
Seats follow central reservation: SC 15%, ST 7.5%, OBC-NCL 27% (central list), EWS 10% and 5% horizontal for PwD, plus CW reservation on Delhi Quota seats. Students from outside Delhi can still get these colleges through the 15% All India Quota in MCC counselling.
How do the MCC rounds work for Delhi Quota seats?
MCC holds four rounds for Delhi University and IP University seats: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and an online stray vacancy round.
- Round 1 final allotment came on 24 August 2026, Round 2 on 12 September and Round 3 on 30 September 2026.
- After Round 1 and Round 2 you choose Freeze (keep the seat, no upgrade) or Float (keep the seat and try for a better choice).
- Seats left after Round 3 go to the stray vacancy round. The FMSC bulletin says leftover DU seats provided by MCC are filled this way.
- You cannot take part in the stray round if you hold or have joined a seat, or if you were allotted a seat in Round 3 and did not report. Everyone else who registers afresh is eligible.
What must you do after a Delhi University seat is allotted?
A DU seat (MAMC, LHMC, UCMS or MAIDS) is confirmed only after FMSC registration, document checks and reporting at the college.
- Download your provisional allotment letter from the MCC login.
- Open fmsc.du.ac.in, go to undergraduate courses (MBBS/BDS) and open the admission link.
- Confirm your NEET UG 2026 roll number and date of birth, then create a login with your mobile number, email and a password.
- Fill the form, upload your photo, signature and documents, and pay Rs 1,500 (Rs 1,000 for SC, ST and PwBD).
- Report to the allotted college by the date on your admission letter with the printed registration form, the MCC allotment letter, originals and two sets of self-attested copies.
No change can be made to the FMSC form after payment. For IP University Quota seats (VMMC, ABVIMS-RML, ESIC), follow the reporting steps in your MCC allotment letter and the institute’s notice.
