Selected candidates are required to furnish the necessary documents at the time of admission. Information regarding subsequent lists of selected candidates, if any, shall be notified on the admission portal.
DU Interview / Group Discussion (if any)
For the courses having entrance examination and interview / group discussion, the admission to the course is through an entrance test, which results in the shortlisting of the candidates for the interview/group discussion.
The list of shortlisted candidates and dates of the interview / group-discussion shall be notified on the admission portal.

DU Admission Procedure 2017
For UG Courses
The Colleges / Centre will declare the category-wise “Admission List” of finally selected candidates on their websites. These finally selected candidates, whose names appear in Admission List, will login to the respective admission portals again, download the Admission Form, and take the printout of the Admission Form to the “Allotted College / Centre”.

Along with the Admission Form, candidates shall carry the required documents (in original). After verification, the allotted College will mark the applicant “APPROVED” on the admission portal. The certificates of Approved candidates shall be retained for entire admission process.
The candidate will then be required to login and pay Admission Fee
For PG Courses
For the “Merit Category”, the applicants shall only be considered in the “Admission List” if their Qualifying Examination results are updated on the Admission Portal. For the “Entrance Category”, the applicants shall be considered in the “Admission List” even if their Qualifying Examination results are still awaited. They must keep the Qualifying Exam Results option blank on the Admission Portal. However, they must provide the college preference option, if applicable, on the Admission Portal.
The Departments / Colleges will declare the category-wise “Admission List” of finally selected candidates on their websites. Both the “Merit” and “Entrance” lists (wherever applicable) shall be announced together, for all the categories. These selected candidates will logon to the respective admission portals again, download the Admission Form, and take the printout of the Admission Form.
Along with the Admission Form, applicant shall also carry the required documents (in original). Applicant must first report at the “Reporting Centre” (as given in the Admission Form) for verification of the documents and eligibility criteria.
The certificates of APPROVED and REPORTED candidates shall be retained at the “Place of Admission”. The certificates will remain with the “Place of Admission” during the entire admission process. The APPROVED and REPORTED candidates shall not be allowed to change the college in the same or subsequent lists of the particular course.
Documents Required at the time of Admission
The applicants shall be required to produce following documents in original with two sets of self-attested photocopies at the College/Centre:
- Class X Board Examination Certificate
- Class X Marks-Sheet
- Class XII Marks-Sheet
- Class XII Provisional Certificate / Original Certificate
- Provisional Certificate and Marks-Sheet of the Qualifying Examination (for PG only)
- Character Certificate (recent)
- SC/ST/PwD/CW Certificate (in the name of the candidate) issued by the competent authority
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate (in the name of the Candidate) issued by competent authority.
- Transfer Certificate from school / college as well as Migration Certificate from Board / University are required from those students who have passed senior secondary exam from outside Delhi
- At least two passport size self-attested photographs.
- Migration Certificate: Required for those students who have passed qualifying examination from outside Delhi University (for PG only)
