DU Result 2020 – Delhi University (DU) will declare the result for the admission into various UG & PG courses on the official website du.ac.in. DU 2020 Admission List
DU will release the admission list of both UG & PG programmes on the official website. Both Merit and Entrance Test Based lists will be announced together according to which candidates will be called for the counseling process.

Merit Based – Merit-based list will prepared on the basis of the previous year qualifying marks. Candidates applied for admission through Merit-Based must fulfill the eligibility criteria of the respective course.For UG courses, University will prepare the cut-off list on the basis the previous year qualifying marks.
Entrance Exam – Entrance exam list will be prepared on the result of each candidate in DUET 2020. Whereas, result of the candidate will be compiled on the basis of the final answer Key of DU entrance exam prepared by NTA. Candidates who have qualified the exam can check his/her rank in the rank list.

DU PG 2020 Entrance Exam GD/PI
After the declaration of merit list, candidates will have to appear for the interview or Group discussions GD/PI round is held only for some courses. According to the performance in GD/PI round canddiates will qualify for admission list. The weighteage of the GD-PI round is 15% that is 60 marks, on the basis of which candidates performance will be judged. DU CutOff List 2020
Delhi University will release the cut-off list for the intake of students, who are seeking admission in UG through Merit-based. A cut-off list for each course will be released on the official website as per categories. For every round Cut-off will be released as per vacancy of seats. After the declaration of cut-off candidates can apply for the colleges ar per prefernce and cutoff. Candidates will have to deposit the fee and all the required documents to reserve their seat as soon as the cut-off is declared.
What to do After the Declaration DU Result 2020
For UG Courses – After the declaration of result, candidates applying through Entrance exam courses , can apply for the colleges and department through UG Admission Portal. Those who are applying for admission through Merit List courses, can apply for the respective course/college afer the declaration of Cutoff list. All the candidates have to fill the admission form of the DU from the official website.
For PG courses – Candidates who have qualified the entrance exam or Merit list, can apply for respective college and departments from the PG admission portal by fill the admission form as per the notification. After that, University will declared the admission list on the basis of the rank or qualifying marks.
DU 2020 Admission Process
Notification regarding DU Admission will be released in the candidates portal. So candidates are required to check the portal for updates.
For Undergraduate courses –
- For the Merit based mode – DU will released the different cutoff list of Science, Arts and Commerce, according to which candidates who fulfill the cut-off criteria can apply for the desired course and college. After that, University will declared the admission list of the selected canddiates. So, those candidates who have applied for the Department/college can check the seats allotted to them.
- For Entrance Exam Based – National Test agency will declare the DUET result on the basis of entrance exam marks and qualifying marks. According to which university will prepare the merit list of the qualified candidates. Allocation of the seats will held according to the merit list only.
For Post-graduate courses
DU will release the separate admission list of the candidates who have applied for admission through Merit-based and Entrance exam based. Candidates can check the list for Merit-based list and entrance exam list separately. Candidates will be called for the counseling process and seats will be allotted to them, according to the admission list only.

Candidates shall be requried to obtain the mentioned below documents along with 2 self-attest copies at the time of counselling as per the admission Schedule :
- Class 10th marksheet and Certificate (For Date of Birth)

- Graduation Marksheet/Certificate (for PG courses)
- OC Non Creamy Layer certificate
- Caste certificate (SC/ST/EWS/PwD)

How to Check DU Entrance exam 2020 Result?
To check Delhi University 2020 Result follow the mentioned below steps:

Step 2: Click on the link to check the rank list of courses
Step 3: Click on the link for the course you have applied for, Check your roll number, name and rank.
Step 4: Or you can check the individual result by logging in candidate’s login

DU 2020 Admission under Sports Quota – UG
Around 5% of seats are reserved in both UG & PG courses for admission through Sports quota. The candidates who are seeking admission under Sports Quota in the UG or PG courses can apply online. The eligible candidates need to report at the College along with original documents.
For UG course : Candidates have to apply online in a maximum of 3 games. Make sure that in UG courses reservation under sports categories is not available in courses where admission is based on entrance tests.
For PG course : The admission on the basis of Sports Quota will be on the basis of Entrance Examination and shall be finalised by the concerned Department.
NTA will release the separate merit list for UG and PG course, of the selected candidates under sports quota. Candidates will be called for the admission process according to the merit list only.
