How to use the DUET 2021 Question Paper?

The question paper for DUET 2021 can be used to estimate scores in the entrance test. However, candidates can also use it to get a know how of the exam pattern and practice the questions for upcoming DUET examinations.

DUET 2021 Marking Scheme

The official authority uses the following marking scheme to calculate the score of candidates in DUET 2021 examination.

For UG courses

Number of Questions: There are 100 questions in DUET.
Maximum Marks: DUET is of 400 marks.
Marks allotted for correct answer: 4 marks.
Marks deducted for wrong answer: 1 mark

For PG courses

Number of Questions: There are 50-100 questions in DUET.
Maximum Marks: DUET is of 200-400 marks.
Marks allotted for correct answer: 4 marks.
Marks deducted for wrong answer: 1 mark

For M.Phil and PhD

Number of Questions: There are 50 questions in DUET.
Maximum Marks: DUET is of 200 marks.
Marks allotted for correct answer: 4 marks.
Marks deducted for wrong answer: 1 mark

About DUET 2021

The Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) 2021 is held in computer based mode. Selected candidates are provided admissions into the undergraduate, postgraduate. MPhil and Ph.D. courses on the basis of their marks in DUET 2021 exam. A personal interview round is also held for some courses. The duration of the exam is for 2 hours and the number of questions depend from 50-100 depending upon the course selected.

About Delhi University Admission

The University of Delhi or Delhi university intakes admission every year gainst around 60,000 seats. Out of these, admission in some courses are based on merit-based and some are based on the performance of the candidates in DUET.

The entrance exam is conducted for UG, PG and M.Phil/Ph.D. courses. The candidates have to apply online for admission with their qualifying exam marks, appear in the DUET (If applicable) in the online mode, visit the college for admission formalities if eligible and complete the admissions process.

About DU: There are 90 affiliated colleges under DU with 87 departments. The University is very reputed and famous for its’ hight cutoff marks for admission. Thus the candidates are advised to go through the question papers of various courses for which DUET is applicable to get an idea of the level of the entrance exam.
