How to Use AP ECET Previous Year Papers?
- Work at 54 seconds a question. 200 questions in 180 minutes leaves under a minute each. In the engineering papers the branch section is half the marks, so give it about 90 minutes and split the rest between Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
- Answer every question. AP ECET has no negative marking, so a blank always scores 0 while a guess can only add marks. Mark something for every question before time runs out.
- Solve 2026, 2025 and 2024 first. These master papers show the key option against each question, so you can score yourself straight away. Use 2018 to 2023 for chapter-wise practice.
- Check your stream’s years. B.Sc Mathematics papers are here for 2018 to 2021 and 2024 to 2026 only, and Agricultural Engineering for 2020, 2021 and 2024 to 2026. Pharmacy, Civil, CSE, ECE, EEE, EIE, Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical and Mining have a paper for every year.
- Plan for April 2027. About five months remain, with applications expected from February 2027. One full paper a week covers all nine years of your branch before the test.

How many questions are there in the AP ECET paper?
200 multiple-choice questions for 200 marks in 3 hours. In the engineering papers, Mathematics has 50 marks, Physics 25, Chemistry 25 and the branch subject 100.
Is there negative marking in AP ECET?
No. The 2026 instruction booklet gives 200 marks for 200 questions with no negative marking, so attempt every question.
Do these AP ECET papers have answer keys?
Yes. The 2018 to 2020 pages have separate key PDFs (the 2020 Electronics and Instrumentation key is missing). From 2021 the correct option is marked inside each paper, and for 2024 to 2026 that is the preliminary key.
Is there an AP ECET B.Sc Mathematics question paper for every year?
No. B.Sc Mathematics papers are here for 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2024, 2025 and 2026. No 2022 or 2023 B.Sc Mathematics paper is available.
What is the qualifying mark in AP ECET?
You need 25% of the total, which is 50 out of 200, to get a rank. SC and ST candidates have no minimum mark.
In which language is the AP ECET paper?
The test is in English only.
