AP ECET 2027 (Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test) is the state test for lateral entry into the second year of B.E., B.Tech and B.Pharmacy for diploma holders and B.Sc (Mathematics) graduates. AP ECET 2027 Important Dates
APSCHE has not announced the AP ECET 2027 schedule yet. In 2026 the notification came on 4 February and the exam was held on 23 April, so the 2027 exam is expected in April, with the notification in February.

How to Apply for AP ECET 2027
You apply for AP ECET 2027 online at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ECET after the notification is out. There is no offline form. You pay the registration fee online first and then fill in the application, so check which ECET paper matches your diploma before you start.
Apply Online for AP ECET 2027
Applications for AP ECET 2027 are expected in February 2027.
- Open the Eligibility Branches PDF on cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ECET and find the ECET paper for your diploma branch.
- Pay the registration fee online through AP Online or the payment gateway (credit card, debit card or net banking).
- Fill in the form: diploma or degree hall ticket number, SSC hall ticket number, places of study from Class 6, caste and income certificate (MeeSeva) numbers, ration card and Aadhaar. Aadhaar is mandatory.
- Upload a passport-size photo (JPG, up to 50 KB) and your signature in black pen on white paper (JPG, up to 30 KB).
- Choose your test centre. Centres are allotted on a first come, first served basis.
- Submit the form and print it. You must hand over this printout, signed in front of the invigilator, on exam day.

After the last date you can still apply with a late fee. In 2026 the late fee went up in four steps: Rs 1,000, Rs 2,000, Rs 4,000 and Rs 10,000, the last up to 28 March. A one-day correction window followed for fixing details already submitted.
How to log in to the AP ECET 2027 candidate portal?
You use the AP ECET candidate portal to pay the fee, fill in and print your application, download the hall ticket, see your response sheet, raise objections on the preliminary key and get your result and rank card.
- Open the official AP ECET website. The 2027 links will open with the next registration, expected in February 2027; the site live now still shows the AP ECET 2026 services.
- Click the service you need, such as Fill Application, Print Application Form, Download Hall Ticket, Response Sheets or Results. AP ECET has no single login with a password; each service asks for your own details.
- To fill in or print the form, enter your payment reference ID, your diploma or B.Sc hall ticket number, your mobile number and your date of birth. The print page also asks for your registration number.
- For the hall ticket, enter your registration number, your qualifying exam hall ticket number and your date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy). For the result and rank card, use your registration number, your ECET hall ticket number and your date of birth.
- Submit the details. Your application, hall ticket, response sheet or rank card opens on screen, ready to download and print.
Forgot your payment reference ID or registration number? There is no password to reset. Know Your Payment Status on the same site shows your payment reference ID and payment status when you enter your diploma or B.Sc hall ticket number and mobile number. The registration number appears when you submit the form and is printed on your application, so keep that printout.
Who can apply for AP ECET 2027?
You can apply if you are an Indian national from Andhra Pradesh with a diploma in engineering, technology or pharmacy, or a three-year B.Sc with Mathematics, with the marks below. These rules are from the 2026 instruction booklet and may be revised for 2027.
- Nationality and state: Indian, belonging to Andhra Pradesh and meeting the local or non-local status rules of the state government.
- Diploma: Engineering, Technology or Pharmacy from SBTET Andhra Pradesh, or an AICTE-approved diploma the state accepts as equivalent.
- B.Sc: a three-year B.Sc with Mathematics as one of the group subjects from a recognised university.
- Marks: at least 45% in the diploma or B.Sc, or 40% for BC, SC and ST candidates.
- Final-year diploma students can write the test, but must pass all subjects before admission.
- B.Sc graduates are not eligible for B.Pharmacy, and they get engineering seats only after all qualified diploma holders are placed.

What is the AP ECET 2027 exam pattern?
AP ECET is a three-hour computer based test of 200 multiple choice questions for 200 marks, in English only. Diploma holders in engineering write common Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry sections plus a separate paper for their branch. The topic list for each paper is on the AP ECET syllabus page.

To get a rank you need 25% of the total, which is 50 out of 200. SC and ST candidates have no minimum mark for ranking. Ranks are given separately for each branch paper, and the exam runs in a morning and an afternoon session, with each stream in one fixed session.
