How to Check the FDDI AIST Result 2027
- Go to fddiindia.com after FDDI announces the AIST 2027 merit list.
- Click the AIST 2027 result link in the Important Updates or Admission section.
- Enter the details the result page asks for. For the 2023 result it asked for any two of: online application number, date of birth and email ID.
- View your AIST rank and status, and download or print the page.
- Watch fddiindia.com for the counselling schedule for your rank.
FDDI publishes AIST results only on its website and does not send them by post. The result date is announced on the website; the 2026 prospectus listed it as to be announced.
What does the FDDI AIST 2027 result show?
The result gives your rank in AIST, which is based on your aggregate score in the test. This rank decides when you are called for counselling.
How does FDDI prepare the AIST 2027 merit list?
FDDI ranks candidates by their aggregate AIST score and fills seats strictly in rank order. Reservation applies programme-wise: 15% SC, 7.5% ST, 27% OBC (non-creamy layer), 10% EWS and 5% PwD. The total UG and PG seats and campuses are on the FDDI AIST 2027 page.
Candidates who apply with a valid national-level entrance score instead of writing AIST are placed by percentile: their percentile is matched to the nearest AIST percentile and they are ranked just below that AIST candidate. They are mainly considered for seats left after AIST counselling.
FDDI does not publish qualifying marks or closing ranks, so there is no official AIST cut off to show here.
What happens after the FDDI AIST result 2027?
- FDDI calls candidates to counselling in order of rank. It calls more candidates than seats, so counselling can close before a lower rank’s turn.
- At counselling you get a programme and campus by your rank and preference.
- Pay the seat reservation amount: Rs 25,000 in 2026 (Rs 10,000 non-refundable registration fee plus Rs 15,000 advance), or Rs 10,000 for reserved categories.
- Pay the balance fee within 10 working days of reserving the seat.
- Report to your campus on the date in your allotment letter. Change of programme or campus is not allowed after allotment.
Candidates still waiting for their Class 12 or degree result get provisional admission and must submit the result by 30 September. If you withdraw before classes begin, FDDI refunds the fee minus the Rs 10,000 registration fee.
