Goa NEET Counselling 2026 is the state quota admission to MBBS at Goa Medical College and BDS at Goa Dental College, run by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa, on NEET UG 2026 merit. Seats are taken in person at DTE Porvorim. Rounds 1 and 2 are over, and the next round is on 19 and 21 October 2026.

Goa NEET Counselling 2026 Important Dates
Rounds 1 and 2 are over, and DTE Goa holds the next admission round on 19 and 21 October 2026, with MBBS and BDS on 19 October. The 2027 forms are expected in May 2027, with rounds around August 2027.

Which MBBS and BDS seats does DTE Goa fill?
DTE Goa fills the state quota seats at the two government colleges in Bambolim. The 15% All India Quota seats are filled by MCC. These are the 2026-27 seats in the DTE prospectus.

For All India Quota seats, register separately in MCC NEET counselling. Any AIQ seat that stays vacant is offered to the General merit list in a special DTE round, subject to NMC and DCI rules. The same DTE rounds also fill BNYS, BAMS, BHMS, allied health, B.Sc. Nursing and B.V.Sc. seats.
How to apply for Goa NEET Counselling 2026?
You apply on paper with Form A, the single DTE form for all NEET-based and other professional degree courses. There is no online registration or choice filling.
Apply Online for Goa NEET Counselling 2026
The Goa NEET Counselling 2026 application window (11 to 22 May 2026, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (closed on 17 May)) has closed.
- Download the 2026-27 degree prospectus and Form A from the DTE website, or collect the form at an application receiving centre.
- Fill Form A in your own handwriting. Mark every course and category you want, with your NEET UG roll number; these cannot be changed after the last date.
- Pay the Rs 2,100 application fee by card or UPI at the centre, through the payment link on the DTE website, in cash at any HDFC Bank branch, or by demand draft.
- Submit the form with self-attested copies of your documents at a receiving centre. In 2026 this window was 11 to 22 May, 10 AM to 5 PM.
- Keep the pink Acknowledgement Card with your registration number. You must bring it to every admission round.
- Submit your NEET UG scorecard once the result is out. In 2026 the last date was 24 July, by the DTE website link or in person.

Check the eligibility list and the provisional merit list on the DTE website. Report any error in writing to the Chairman, Admission Committee, within 24 hours.
Who can apply for Goa NEET Counselling 2026?
You need a valid NEET UG 2026 score and must meet the NMC qualifying criteria. For the main state quota (General category and its reserved groups) you also need a Goa link through study and residence.
- Class 12 from the Goa Board, CBSE or an equivalent board, with English, and at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology together (40% for SC, ST and OBC; 45% for PwD).
- Age at least 17 years on or before 31 December of the admission year.
- General category: passed Class 12 from a school or college in Goa and lived in Goa continuously for 10 years (5 years if a parent or grandparent was born in Goa).
- Children of Goa Government deputationists or employees posted outside Goa also qualify. Once eligible, you stay eligible for the next 3 years.
- Local Applicants (Class 12 from Goa without the residence period) and Outside Goa Applicants get only seats left vacant after all other categories.
- NRI candidates and OCI or PIO cardholders can apply for NRI seats; Goan-origin NRI applicants are offered these seats first.
- Students from boards other than the Goa Board need an eligibility certificate from Goa University.
How are Goa state quota seats reserved?
The 2026-27 prospectus reserves state quota seats as below. SC, ST and OBC seats need a non-migrant caste certificate from the Deputy Collector in Goa.

Caste certificates from outside Goa are not valid for reservation; such candidates are listed in the General merit list if they meet its rules. Unfilled reserved seats move to the General category at the end of each round.
How do the Goa NEET admission rounds work?
Each round is held in person at DTE, Alto-Porvorim. The schedule gives a reporting time for each course, category and range of merit numbers.
- Report at least 30 minutes before your slot with the Acknowledgement Card, NEET UG scorecard and admit card, and the originals of all documents.
- When your merit number is called, you choose any seat still available in your category.
- Admission is complete only after you deposit original documents and pay the fees. You must then report to the college within 3 working days.
- If you are absent or decline, you lose your turn in that round, and the seat goes to the next candidate.
- Everyone on the merit list can attend later rounds, even after taking a seat, to move to a better seat. If you cancel a seat, you cannot claim that same seat again.
- MBBS and BDS admissions need a fitness check by the Medical Board of Goa Medical College.
- After the last round, colleges can fill leftover seats from the DTE merit list with DTE approval.

What is the MBBS fee at Goa Medical College, and is there a bond?
These are the government college fees in the 2026-27 prospectus. All fees may be revised by the Government.

SC, ST and OBC students with 10 years of Goa residence get 50% off tuition fees. General, PwD, FF and ESM students get 50% if parents’ income is up to Rs 3 lakh a year; otherwise PwD, FF and ESM seats get 30%. NRI MBBS students pay US$ 50,000 for the full course in four instalments, while Goan-origin NRI students pay twice the General fee.
MBBS and BDS students sign a bond to serve the Government of Goa for 1 year after the course. Leaving the course midway or not serving the bond means a penalty of Rs 10 lakh. Hostel fees are Rs 8,000 a term, plus a mess fee (Rs 3,950 a month in 2025-26).
What documents do you need for Goa NEET counselling?
Attach self-attested copies to Form A and carry the originals to the admission round.

- NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard
- Class 12 mark sheet, birth certificate and school leaving or transfer certificate
- Residence certificate from the Mamlatdar showing 10 years in Goa, or a bonafide certificate that clearly shows it
- Birth certificate of a parent or grandparent born in Goa, if you claim the 5-year residence rule or the GN category
- Non-migrant caste certificate from the Deputy Collector, for SC, ST or OBC
- EWS income and assets certificate from the Mamlatdar, and income certificate for fee concession
- Disability certificate from the GMC Medical Board or another state-designated authority, for PwD
- Eligibility certificate from Goa University if you passed Class 12 outside the Goa Board, and your Aadhaar card
