Goa MBBS Admission 2019 is going to be done on the basis of NEET UG 2019 exam. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa shall be the counseling conducting authority for admissions to MBBS Government and Private medical universities situated in the state. Candidates aspiring for admissions to NEET-2019 based courses in the State of Goa viz. MBBS are required to appear and qualify at NEET-2019 conducted by NTA.. For taking admission in the various Govt. and Private college in the state, candidates have to register first.
The Candidates must note that admissions to 85% state quota seats in government institutes and private universities will be provided by DTE Goa. Goa MBBS 2019 Application Form
The application form for Goa MBBS 2019 Admission is now available at dtegoa.gov.in. Applicants are required to enter their Personal Details, Educational Qualification Details and other details in the application form. Incomplete application forms are liable for rejection. Applicants shall download, print and submit application form along with application fee of Rs. 2000/- to be remitted in the Account of “Directorate of Technical Education” with client code ‘DRCTORTEDU’ in any branch of HDFC Bank in the State of Goa, or any other approved mode of remittance as may be duly notified, along with three identical photographs as indicated, and other specified certificates (self attested photo copies), and obtain the Photo-Admit Card, from the Admission Committee. Admit cards will be issued only to candidates in person. Outside Goa candidates sending Forms by Post can remit the application fee vide Demand Draft payable in the name of ‘Director of Technical Education’ at Panaji-Goa.
Eligibility Criteria for Goa MBBS Admission 2019
The candidates must ensure that they must fulfill the eligibility conditions as given by Directorate of Technical Education, Goa. The eligibility criteria are explained below:
- The applicants must be Indian Nationals.
- The NRI candidates holding Indian passports, Overseas Citizens of India and Persons of Indian Origin are also eligible under the NRI Category.
Age Criteria:An applicant to Degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Homoeopathy, Ayurveda, Allied Health Sciences and Nursing must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the academic year of admission to become eligible for admission to First Year
Applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (Std. XIIth) examination of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English and secured not less than 50% marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together. (40% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only and 45% for applicants belonging to PH category, for MBBS)
- The candidates must obtain 50th Percentile in NEET for admission to MBBS.
Goa MBBS 2019 Merit List
The Directorate of Technical Education will be releasing the merit list at its official website for only the qualifiers of NEET 2019. Goa MBBS 2019 Merit List will be prepared on the basis of the NEET 2019 scores. It shall consist of the details such as qualified candidate’s name, percentile score, state rank, total marks obtained, etc.
Goa MBBS 2019 Counselling
The candidates whose name appears in the merit list will be eligible to appear for counseling. The candidates as per their ranking and the preferences given by them will be allotted the college or institute of their choice. After the candidates are allotted a seat, the applicants shall have to report to the Institute for verification of document and payment of fees.
