Goa MBBS Admission 2018 will be done on the basis of NEET 2018 exam. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa shall be the counseling conducting authority for admissions to MBBS Government and Private medical universities situated in the state. As per the Supreme Court Order, except NEET, no other entrance exam will be conducted for admission to MBBS seats across India. For taking admission in the various Govt. and Private college in the state, candidates have to register first.

The Candidates must note that admissions to 85% state quota seats in government institutes and private universities will be provided by DTE Goa. Eligibility Criteria for Goa MBBS Admission 2018

The candidates must ensure that they must fulfill the eligibility conditions as given by Directorate of Technical Education, Goa. The eligibility criteria are explained below:


  1. The applicants must be Indian Nationals.
  2. The NRI candidates holding Indian passports, Overseas Citizens of India and Persons of Indian Origin are also eligible under the NRI Category.

Age Criteria: The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on December 31 of the academic year.

Educational Qualification

  1. The applicants must have passed class 12th in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination.
  2. The applicants should have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% in case of PWD and 40% in case of Reserved categories) in PCB.

NEET 2018

  1. The candidates must obtain 50th Percentile in NEET for admission to MBBS.

Applicants are required to enter their Personal Details, Educational Qualification Details and other details in the offline application form. Incomplete application forms are liable for rejection. Application Fees

Applicants shall download, print and submit application form for GCET-2018, at notified locations as per Centre opted, on specified dates, along with application fee of Rs. 1800/- payable vide demand draft drawn in favour of “Director of Technical Education” at Panaji – Goa, on any Scheduled Bank(or any other approved mode of remittance, as notified), and three identical photographs as indicated, and other specified certificates (self attested photo copies), to obtain the Photo-Admit Card, from the Admission Committee. Admit cards will be issued only to candidates in person.

Goa MBBS 2018 Merit List

The Directorate of Technical Education will be releasing the merit list at its official website for only the qualifiers of NEET 2018. Goa MBBS 2018 Merit List will be prepared on the basis of the NEET 2018 scores. It shall consist of the details such as qualified candidate’s name, percentile score, state rank, total marks obtained, etc.

Goa MBBS 2018 Counselling

The candidates whose name appears in the merit list will be eligible to appear for counseling. The candidates as per their ranking and the preferences given by them will be allotted the college or institute of their choice. After the candidates are allotted a seat, the applicants shall have to report to the Institute for verification of document and payment of fees.
