How to check the ICMAI CAT December 2026 result?
You check the CAT result through the result link that ICMAI adds to the featured links on its CAT portal for each term.
- Open the ICMAI CAT portal.
- Click the CAT Course (Part-I) Examination Result link for December 2026 once it is added. The June 2026 result page shows how it works.
- Enter your registration number in the 6-digit format (XXXXXX).
- Submit and view your result.
- Download your mark sheet and keep a copy.
ICMAI does not issue a pass certificate for Part-I alone. The CAT pass certificate is given only after you complete the whole course, including the internship and orientation programme.
What is the expected ICMAI CAT December 2026 cut off?
CAT Part-I has no rank-based cut off: you pass by reaching the fixed minimum marks set in the December 2026 notification.

What is on the ICMAI CAT rank list?
Along with the result, ICMAI publishes a rank list for each Part-I term, such as the June 2026 rank list, showing the top-ranked candidates and their coaching centres.
Can I get my ICMAI CAT answer papers verified?
Yes. You can apply to the Directorate of CAT within 30 days of the result for verification of answer papers, at Rs 250 per paper.
- Verification only checks totalling mistakes and whether any answer was left unchecked.
- ICMAI does not give question-wise marks.
- If a mistake is found in a paper, the verification fee for that paper is refunded on application.
What to do after the ICMAI CAT December 2026 result?
After Part-I, you complete Part-II: computer and practical training, the online assessment tests on icat.co.in, the five-day orientation programme and the 45-day internship. ICMAI announces each round of Part-II tests in a separate schedule notice; in 2026 they were held in February and July, with conditions on who could take each round.
If you have passed Part-I and Class 12, you can also register for the CMA Intermediate course of ICMAI. If you do not pass, you can take the exam again in the June 2027 term; check dates on the ICMAI CAT exam page.
