No. IIM Rohtak has not released the IPM 2027 prospectus yet. The latest one (2026-31 batch) lists the three test sections and the marking scheme but no topic-wise syllabus. The topic lists below come from past IPM aptitude papers and standard preparation material, not from an official IIM Rohtak list.

What topics come in IPMAT Rohtak Quantitative Ability?

Quantitative Ability tests school-level mathematics applied to problems. Prepare these areas:

Number systems: divisibility, HCF and LCM, remainders, surds and indices.
Algebra: linear and quadratic equations, inequalities, functions, progressions, logarithms.
Arithmetic: percentages, profit and loss, interest, ratio and proportion, averages, mixtures, time and work, time-speed-distance.
Geometry and mensuration: triangles, circles, polygons, coordinate geometry, areas and volumes.
Modern maths: permutations and combinations, probability, sets and Venn diagrams.
Data interpretation: tables, bar graphs, line graphs and pie charts.

What topics come in IPMAT Rohtak Logical Reasoning?

Logical Reasoning is a full 40-question section in IPMAT Rohtak. Common question types are:

Seating and other arrangements, puzzles and scheduling.
Blood relations, direction sense, coding-decoding.
Number, letter and mixed series.
Syllogisms, statements and conclusions, statements and assumptions.
Data sufficiency, calendars and clocks, input-output.

What topics come in IPMAT Rohtak Verbal Ability?

Verbal Ability checks your English reading, vocabulary and grammar. Prepare these areas:

Reading comprehension on varied passages.
Vocabulary: synonyms, antonyms, one-word substitution, idioms and phrases, analogies.
Grammar and sentence correction: tenses, articles, prepositions, subject-verb agreement.
Para jumbles, para completion, fill in the blanks and cloze passages.

What is the IPMAT Rohtak 2027 exam pattern and marking scheme?

IPMAT Rohtak has 120 multiple-choice questions in 120 minutes, 40 in each section, for 480 marks. This is the pattern in the latest (2026) prospectus.

Each correct answer gets 4 marks, each wrong answer loses 1 mark and unattempted questions get 0. IIM Rohtak’s FAQ says there is no sectional cut-off in the aptitude test.

What is the Legal Reasoning section for IPL applicants?

If you also choose the Integrated Programme in Law (IPL) when you register, you answer an extra Legal Reasoning section of 20 multiple-choice questions in 20 minutes, with the same +4 and -1 marking. IPM-only candidates do not take this section.

How should you prepare for the IPMAT Rohtak 2027 syllabus?

Revise Class 10 and Class 11-12 mathematics first, then practise timed problem sets.
Give Logical Reasoning daily practice, since it is a full section here.
Read newspaper editorials and long articles daily for reading comprehension and vocabulary.

Are there separate time limits for each IPMAT Rohtak section?

The prospectus gives a single 120-minute duration for the three sections together and does not list separate section timings. The 2027 prospectus will confirm the rule.

How is the IPMAT Rohtak syllabus different from IPMAT Indore?

IPMAT Rohtak has a full Logical Reasoning section and only multiple-choice questions. IPMAT Indore tests quantitative and verbal ability and includes short-answer quantitative questions.

Which papers can I practise for IPMAT Rohtak?

IIM Rohtak does not release its papers. IPMAT Indore and JIPMAT past papers cover similar quantitative and verbal questions; use reasoning workbooks for the Logical Reasoning section.
