The IMU CET 2026 examination, conducted by Indian Maritime University (IMU), is scheduled on May 24, 2026 in online CBT mode. What is the IMU CET entrance exam?

The IMU CET stands for Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test. Organized annually by Indian Maritime University – the only central maritime university in India – it is the National level Engineering entrance exam for admission to B.Tech Marine Engineering, B.Tech Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, B.Sc Nautical Science, DNS, BBA, M.Tech, and MBA at IMU campuses and Affiliated Institutes for the academic year 2026-27. The exam is conducted on May 24, 2026 in online CBT mode across 91 test centres in India.

Application Form – Apply Online

The application form was released by Indian Maritime University on February 5, 2026 at imu.edu.in. The last date to apply for UG and PG programmes was April 28, 2026, and for BBA the last date is June 17, 2026. Candidates registered with personal, academic, and contact details, uploaded scanned documents (photograph, signature, Class 10 / 12 mark sheets), and paid the application fee online. The fee structure is INR 1,200 for General (UG / PG), INR 800 for SC / ST, and INR 200 for BBA (General). Keep your login credentials safe for the admit card and result.
